This is a quality keyboard and great value. I like the slim profile and the full keyboard with number pad. Simply plug in the USB and it works right away. No setup needed.

I replaced my old keyboard with this one. It is very nice. My old one was really old - many of the keys did not have the letters any more. But what had me actually buy another one was one of the little legs on the back broke and I did not like it flat. When I got this one in, I thought I might not like it because it did not have the little legs to make it taller, but it is built in to be taller on the back. It has a great touch. I am glad I purchased it I also just found out the capabilities of this keyboard with the print screen function. I use 2 screens in my design business. If I wanted to print just one screen on my old computer, that was the only option I had. So it would print everything that was showing on both screens. Now, however, with the Amazon Basics keyboard, when I use the function print screen, it gives me several options. I can just print what I need. In the past I have pasted into Corel and then cropped out what I wanted. Now I can just add the printed piece to any program I have and not have to worry about having 2 full screens printed and then cropped and then resaved to send to whomever needs to see it. It is a great added feature for me. Thank you Amazon!

This keyboard has a slim line design, solid construction, responsive key touch, and a soft clickity-clack sound. It's an excellent value for the price.

Great keyboard with 99% in common with my all time favorite keyboard... the ASUS keyboard MODEL: AW211. The only reason I'm switching out my keyboard after 8-9 years is because of the amount of dirt that builds up over that time period. I am hoping the Amazon Basics brand MD-005 keyboard has the same longevity. Immediately you'll notice the keyboard layout is the same until you reach the only 3 lights on the top right, but I believe the cord is a foot longer on the Amazon model. With my ASUS motherboard and AMD chipset, this keyboard fails to be recognized (unlike my ASUS one) on startup. I simply have to unplug my MD-005 USB and plug it back in and no further issues until I turn my PC off again. I use this keyboard for internet browsing and some work, but mostly for gaming actually. The responsiveness and feel of these keyboards is unmatched, but the amazon one (for better or worse) has slightly stiffer keys in terms of how much effort they require to push down. On rare occasion, one time so far, a keystroke will be missed. This could very well be user error. All in all, even with the issue of needing to plug it back in every restart, this keyboard well worth it. It's nothing fancy, but it's exactly what I wanted. I removed a star as my hands get more tired of typing on this keyboard than my ASUS one and the inconvenience of needing to unplug and plug it back in on startup. I would however still recommend this keyboard despite these flaws. While I am gaming the stiff keys are not noticed.

Decent membrane keyboard at an excellent price. I bought (and tested) two of these for use as emergency backups in case any of the three other more-advanced keyboards I have currently in service get damaged.

Wanted a bigger keyboard to use with my laptop and this one works perfectly. No issues, nothing to install, just plug into usb and go! I use it every day and have had no issues.

Quality keyboard at a nice price.

So far so good...Amazon calls this its basic one. My old one refused to use the "a" key anymore, and it's amazing how often the "a" key is necessary. This item, Amazons Basics Wired QWERTY keyboard, is just plug in and play,,,and it really is! I didn't have to ask one of my sons for help.

El teclado está súper bien, todo funciona y prende como debe. Además de que suena muy bien! El problema es que no leí bien y lo pedí en inglés el teclado, pero configurando el idioma se soluciona y queda un súper teclado. No lo recomiendo si no te sabes los botones en el teclado de español puesto que si te llegarás a confudir por el cambio de posición de algunas teclas. Si te lo sabes, te lo súper recomiendo! Buena compra 👍
