These shoes are comfortable... only if you wear mini ped socks. They rub on the back of my heel the first 6x I wore them. Overall they are very comfortable with arch support, but only if you wear mini peds. Updated 14 months later: Yes, you still have to wear ped socks, also for hygienic reasons :) I love these shoes so much I've bought 3 more pairs in different colors (Navy, matte black & jean). I wear them to work only, they are comfortable and feel already broken in. The bottoms are super sturdy with good arch support. For all those reasons and the price, this shoe is great. I have not had a single blister in all 4 pairs I've purchased. That was always my biggest issue buying flats, my heel/achilles would always have painful blisters AND no arch support. They are stylish and go with any work type apparel to jeans. I am a size 8 true and these fit very true to size. I have a normal to narrow foot and these fit great. If you don't have a narrow foot, I can see these would hurt your pinky toes and side of your foot. I just ordered the jean pair and they seem snug, so my next pair (snake skin) I'm going to go up to 8.5 to see the difference.

I love these shoes but have to return them and get a half size bigger. Runs smaller.

Pretty... I wore them one time and the soles came out. Thankfully I don't wear dress shoes often enough to worry about needing to return for another pair. If your feet swell, these have little give. Order a wide.

LIKE: They look nice--even nicer than the picture. The sole is thick and rubbery (non-slip). The shoes look like pretty good quality. DISLIKE: Due to the reviews about this shoe being uncommonly narrow, I got wide width since I have a wide ball width. As you might expect, the shoe was a good width there, but too wide elsewhere (common problem for me). BUT, strangely, the show was too SHALLOW in the toe box! I felt the tops of my toenails touching the upper part of the shoe when taking even one step--and I keep my toenails trimmed. I don't have big toes, either.

Finally a shoe I can wear all day in the office! For the past 6 or 7 years, I've worn black Crocs flats. They're comfortable, don't scuff like leather, don't stain like fabric, and aren't affected at all by water if I scurry through the rain. But after 2 years of every day wear, I needed to replace them, only to find that they don't seem to be made anymore. Only 1 style on the crocs site, and the few styles available on Amazon are either priced too high or only available in maybe size 4 and size 9. So the hunt was on for a super-comfortable black flat, inexpensive, that would be suitable for my office job. I first order a pair of cheapies from Walmart, thinking they'd get me by until I could afford something better, but they were so terribly missized that they went straight in the trash. Then I bought a pair here from Amazon Warehouse that were okay, but my dog ate them the very next morning. So I headed back to Amazon Warehouse to check my options and found these for just $5 in like new condition! I have to admit that wearing normal (non-plastic) flats again feels a little odd. They're not quite as flexible, but they do fit very well and look really nice with my work outfits. At first, they rubbed on my heel a little (unlike the crocs which just stick to your feet and move with you), and sometimes my toes would feel a little pinched. But I figured I just needed to break them in, so I would wear them for an hour, switch to Crocs for an hour, and then back to these, over and over for about 3 days while at work. Then one day I realized I was still wearing them several hours later, completely comfortable, not even switching to my crocs at all -- and I was walking all over our business property to check things in different buildings. These shoes have cushiony support and are very comfortable to wear through the whole workday now, much more comfortable than the Naturalizer ones I tried, and the 6W fits me great. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, especially since I scored such a low price!

I had such high hopes, but these are somehow the most UNCOMFORTABLE shoes I’ve ever bought. They look great, but the glittery fabric is impossibly stiff and so it chafes and rubs along the whole opening for your foot. I didn’t know it was possible to get a blister on the top/side of the middle part of my foot, but here we are. And it’s not that they don’t fit… they do. They are just poorly designed and constructed. They also manage to press on just one toe when I put them on, which I’ve never had in other shoes (even really cheap ones), so it’s not that I have weird sized feet or anything. They just seem to be made poorly. I would return them but I threw away the box based on how great they looked when I got them. If you buy these, plan to line the whole thing with moleskin and consider amputating a toe.

This is my FOURTH order of (various) White Mountain Shoes. I have wide feet and they offer a wide width. The shoes are lovely and always fit me perfectly. Uniform color and beautiful finish. They look like they would be more expensive, but they are a good deal! The cushioning inside is very comfortable. The shoes are not stiff and flex easily, but also provide enough support. The past orders have worn well and do not fall apart. Im not easy on shoes! The style is lovely and dressy for a flat ballet style. Not boring, not plain. I love this company.

I have wide feet, can’t find dress shoes without heels and have difficulty finding shoes for 9.5 wide. I took a chance ordering these. I love them. Round toe that I need. Length & width perfect. Already ordered more in different colours. Reasonably priced. Very comfortable. Will be perfect addition to a summer wedding outfit.

the sizing is bang on, i struggle to find a nice looking shoe in wide. these were a lovely well fitting surprise. love the shoe. i ordered another one in different color. i know already these will be favorite. happy me!
