The Concise History of WWII Part One War in the West & AFRICA and ASIA [DVD]
P**S
Concise is an exaggeration, as it only goes up to 1943
The film starts with the end of WWI and Germany’s defeat, followed by the tyrannical Versailles Treaty. And that was it! But sadly, the narrator failed to mention that Britain started WWI, as well as WWII. That aside, the narrator also failed to mention the aftermath of the Great War and the consequences of the draconian reparations of the Versailles Treaty. Reparations could only by paid in gold or foreign currency. It was a conspiratorial setup. The American banksters (banker-gangsters) had a heyday! Germany became a magnet for Communist agitators, fraudsters, criminals and perverts of all kinds as the country fell into total chaos and confusion. Skyrocketing hyperinflation and the ever increasing cost of foods and goods created political and social instability. In 1922 the deteriorating value of the German currency took 7,400 Marks for one US dollar. Germany’s monetary crisis, political chaos and increasing Communist expansion and social instability created an atmosphere that was rife for drastic political change. There was no other way to end it all. The result of this melee created the seeds for Adolf Hitler’s political aspirations. While the archive film footage is first rate depicting the ‘terrible tragedy of the war,’ the narrator failed to include information that Hitler’s spies reported the massive Communist military build-up of 400,000 to 500,000 forces amassing close to Germany’s north-eastern border. ready to sweep through Germany and the rest of Europe. This was why Hitler suddenly focussed on the Russia battle so quickly. Even though he ultimately lost the Russian campaign, from a philosophical perspective, it was important that he was defeated, for Russia soil is Russian sovereignty, like every other nation.
