These seem to be well made. I have had them in and out of saltwater several times, with no sign of corrosion, staining, or seizing up. I do rinse them in fresh water and oil them after every use. I use them to cut braid, gills, crabs, and baitfish. The best test so far is Berkley "Fish Bites" that have a tough mesh between the 2 sides of the synthetic bait that is easy for these Scissors.

This are great for cutting braid or any other fishing line, I have used them for a year now and are still awesome. Highly recommend for braided line cutting.

I was organizing the tackle mess today and had to cut some loose canvas. These scissors were the trick. They've cut a lot of mullet tails and line since I bought them and they cut like new. I do have some rust but nothing to affect usability. The plastic latch that holds the handles together will be wearing out soon and I'll figure out something or buy a new set. Guys, these are better than most of the high dollar junk, save yourselves a few bucks.

This is a boss of a scissors. I honestly cut everything. I went to buy 4 more. But the price literally doubled. Why?

I have owned these for a number of years now and love them. They are great to cut line when rigging or for cutting bait. They are very sharp and easily cut both mono and braided line. I am a saltwater fisherman and they have not corroded at all and are still as sharp as when purchased.

The real deal

I use these for cutting squid bait. I keep the squid fresh and mostly frozen in a 6 pack cooler and everyone cuts fresh squid as needed. They're cool because you don't need a cutting board or a knife, and kids can cut their own bait without cutting themselves or putting knife marks on the boat. Also handy for giving sculpin a quick haircut before tossing them in the kill bag.

These scissors are amazing! Used to cut braid and mono all the time. Also used when rigging natural bait to cut the waxed thread and pec fins (mostly ballyhoo when rigged with circle hooks for billfish). Sharpness last for a long time and not easy to rust (a little WD40 swipe once in a while extends its life).

Diese Schere eignet sich besonders gut um Plattfische küchenfertig zu schneiden. Sie hat unter mehreren Scheren im Praxistest mehrfach überzeugt und ich kenne einige Kollegen die sie ebenfalls benutzen. Ohne die Schere fahre ich nicht mehr zum Plattfischangeln an Nord- und Ostsee.

Great scissors for all fishing usages, filleting fish or snipping bate. Love these!!!!
