Offbeat sci-fi comedy starring Luke Wilson. In 2005, Private Joe Bowers (Wilson) is a soldier chosen to take part in a secret military scientific experiment in which he will be put into induced hibernation for one year, along with a woman named Rita (Maya Rudolph). Bowers is chosen for the assignment because he is statistically the most average man in the army, while Rita is a hooker ordered to do community service. Unfortunately, Bowers and Rita are forgotten about when the military base where the experiment took place is closed down, and when they wake up in the year 2505. Bowers finds himself living in a society where intelligence has taken such a landslide he's now the smartest man in the world.

An ironic, laugh-riot
Five-star movie by Mike Judge, the genius behind Office Space, Beavis and Butt-head, King of the Hill, and check out his new one, Extract; a brilliant plot.Anybody burned-out by angry, over-the-top politics will enjoy this fun take on that. This movie came out in 2006.

Funny movie
This movie can almost give you a glimpse of what it will be like in 50 years. Low budget but heck of a good movie to watch.

Fortune cookie Movie
A bit campy in some spots but then again isn’t most idiotic behavior?!The overall take away from this movie is that there’s a really strong possibility that this’ll become the future!!! Scary but true…I feel like it’s already starting to become like that. All because they’re not teaching kids how to survive in the real world anymore. They’re not teaching them the basics of life.So 100% kudos for telling it like it’s going to be,- if things don’t start going in a better and different direction before it’s too late!!!

It makes sense.
In a twisted, funny sort of way. For silly sci-fi, it's up there with Future 38 or Meteor City.
