Great book

Some of this book was part of assigned reading for my art therapy and counseling program, and it really stayed with me long after I graduated. I find it affirming to the art therapy profession with well-detailed research linking art therapy and neuroscience. The book also sparks ideas for art directives with clients. I struggle with my place in the art therapy profession, so I wanted this book on my shelf as an additional reference and a reminder of how AT's effectiveness is grounded in research. Would also recommend as a learning tool for budding art therapists.

This is a necessary book for all psycotherapy and specially artherapy.You don't believe all new aports from neurscience could change the way to do therapy.

This book is very helpful and informative integrating the lastest information on art therapy and what the medical model has found using fMRI. I would highly recommend this book.

I was hoping for a less technical book. I wanted and needed more actual hands on help. I am not an art therapist and was hoping for somthing like the art therapy and clinical neuroscience for dummies sort of book.
