Interesting Story of Real Life Law
Written some time ago by the prosecutor of Abscam and the briefly featured in the current movie "American Hustle", this story is well told and compelling. It offers an insight into how the law works on a gritty and unvarnished level. As he was both a prosecutor and defense lawyer, it is very balanced. At times distressing and disillusioning, it is a very enjoyable read.

A bloody good lawyer
Really rate this book. Masterful account of the real battles of criminal trials and the intrigue of working for the Government. Puccio is a lawyer but he infects that legal detail with how his heart felt in his battles. This is not some arid tale of the law whcich you would get from a commercial lawyer but what real lawyers are made of i.e. court battles. Puccio is a fighter and probably that is why the book is so good. Really enjoyed it .

terrific book for criminal lawyers
i bought this book after i saw thomas puccio's obituary in the new york times. puccio talks about his career as a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney. the book is written well and puccio comes across as a pretty down to earth person.
