I loved this book!
I limit myself to reading one book a year. I become engrossed in the storyline and my home around me crumbles, laundry piles and my children eat Chicken Nuggets for all 3 meals. Well, for the last 3 days, my mothering and wife duties have taken a back seat while I have enjoyed every word in this book. I don't have an adoption story of my own, but I find myself drawn to stories about them. This book was so raw, personal, emotional and inspiring.I have worked with Young Women for the past 14 years and feel that this book would be a great help for any girl struggling in life. No temptation or sin is too great to overcome, and Megan is proof of overcoming and succeeding!Thank you Megan for this book and the message it shared!

ADOPTION HAS BROUGHT ME MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE
Your words are powerful! Your points are well-made! It’s awesome reading, as a parent who adopted, about such positivity from all angles! My life would be barren without my son & daughter! Without adoption, I may have neither! My kids provide my primary reason for being and adoption placed them with me!Your book displays what a blessing adoption can provide, to everyone involved! Anyone considering adoption (or abortion) NEEDS to read this book!Adoption can turn something initially devastating, into an opportunity to enrich so many lives!

This is an outstanding, honest and open book about an unintended pregnancy, adoption and the healing process. I could not put it down. This book should be read by teenagers, birth parents, women considering making an adoption plan for their baby, adoptive parents, adoptees and adoption workers. I am the founder and executive director of a licensed adoption agency in Idaho and I will be recommending this book to adoptive parents and birth parents. I applaud Megan and am grateful for her honesty, bravery and courage to share her story. Read this book. It will impact your life.

Great read about life, motherhood and adoption!
I really enjoyed this book! It was fascinating to read such a personal story. I found myself thinking about adoption in a whole new light. It was cool to read the different perspectives and how lives were changed from the decision made. Even though I don't have kids (yet) it was interesting to learn more about a mother's bond and desire to give her child the best life possible. I found the author, Megan, to be extremely courageous and real. This book is a blend of humor and life perspective. Highly recommend!

So Glad I Read This One!
The words I would use to describe this book have also been used in other reviews, raw, honest and beautiful. Megan reserves no punches, simply tells it like it is, which I found very refreshing. As I read I caught myself shaking my head in amazement at what she went through by herself! She is definitely one tough cookie! This is a book that I will ponder over and over again.

Megan shares her story about her real life experience with a really hard and personal situation. She shares the beauty of adoption and the process that she as a birth mom went through. She also shares the perspective of the adoptive parents and her daughter. It is a great opportunity to be up close and personal with a subject that is not talked about as much as it should be.

Honest and challenging
I'm so overwhelmed by Megan's honesty. She opens up and lays out her story with just enough spunk you think you're out chatting over coffee instead of reading about the single most influential moment of her young life. She doesn't mince words about her feelings on adoption, chastity, and judgement in the church...all words well worth taking to heart. A must read.
