The photography is magnificient

Haven't read the book yet but I can definitely say it's interesting! To my opinion the book lacks photos, it does have great ones, but not that much as I expected. All in all it's great for present.

Wonderful book. My parents, who have traveled the world and even drove from east coast U.S. to Alaska, were amazed at the striking photos.

This is an excellent picture book. The photography is superb, and the coverage of hot and cold deserts is breathtaking. Martin and his pals have crisscrossed the globe to find fabulous examples of extreme terrain and climate. The descriptions of the journeys are equally breathtaking. The notion of Martin on his motorcycle in -40 degree weather makes me want to huddle under a duvet. A great example, for me, of an anti-bucket list of things to do. Kudos to Michael Martin and his intrepid friends. I am happy to follow their travels vicariously.

Beautiful coffee table book. Much cheaper online than at the chain bookstore. Packaged well so book arrived in flawless condition.
