El Nakhleh Authentic Gourmet Turkish Ground Coffee with Cardamom, Finely Ground and Slowly Roasted, (Arabic Coffee, Israeli coffee, Greek Coffee)

I got addicted to this coffee. I asked my sister-in-law to bring us a good coffee when they have been visited us 2 years ago from Israel. They brought us few different brands but I felt in love with this one. After this coffee was gone, I decided to google the name to see if I could find it here. And here we go! Amazon has it! It is strong but not bitter. It is also very convenient. It is not necessary to cook it. Just pour boiling water in the cup with the coffee, add sugar and creamer ( if desired) and let it brewed for few minutes. Done. Coffee grounds will stick to the bottom of the cup. Boiling water, not just the hot.Thank you Amazon!

So only 3 stars for value... very small bag. But this is good Israeli coffee. The grounds stay at the bottom of your brew with every cup. Exactly what I wanted. Some people have complained of weak flavor. Put more in your cup. Some have complained about things never “mixing”. They aren’t supposed to. You just don’t drink the bottom part of the cup. In Israel they always used clear cups (no handles) to drink from. You could easily see what settles and what to avoid. I suggest doing it that way. Clear cup. And if your tough, no handle. Lol.

This is authentic Arab Israeli coffee. The cardamom is mixed in perfect proportion to give it that authentic taste. You must use a Finjan type pot, throw a heaping tablespoon per cup ( at least) and stir over a low flame. Then strain out into individual cups with a tea strainer or just pour straight and let the sludge settle to the bottom of the cup. Add sugar to the pot as much as you like for even more authentic taste. There’s nothing like Nahkleh coffee. Only buy the original like this.

I was pleased to taste this coffee. Good cup while drinking it but has a bit of a bite.

I don't generally like pre-ground coffee, but it was reasonably fresh for what it is. For people who want an easy Turkish coffee fix, this works really well. Making it at home yielded better-tasting coffee than our one local restaurant that has ok Turkish coffee. The price of the bag is less than the price of two coffees at the restaurant!

This coffee is rich, thick, and a delightful drink to be enjoyed slowly with good company.This coffee has cardamom, that adds a rich layer of complexity that holds up well to coffee's fruity bitterness. Cardamom has some pretty sweet health benefits, too. It's an antioxidant and may help reduce your risk of cancer. I only Drink this coffee!!

The package is really small! Was expecting something twice as bigger for that price

My husband and I went to Israel for a week and a half about two years ago. We stocked up on this coffee before leaving and recently ran out. I was stoked to find it Amazon!! I was less stoked when I realized it was the small bag but it's better than nothing!
