Can’t take hail
Gauge does not tolerate hail. Frogs did. And it appears la crosse does not sell replacement parts. Frog hands do not hold gauge tightly. Little sloppy. Amazon sells it for 4 bucks less than lacrosse technology website, which is good. But I will buy a better brand next time.

t's a really great rain gauge! It's really cute and looks good in a garden area. The tube is plastic so probably won't get hail damage (some i looked at were actual glass). It's a little smaller than I thought, but im pretty sure there are measurements in the description that I over looked. I bought a squirrel for my grandma and a froggy one for my mom. They loved them and it measures accurately! Would buy again!
