The Limits of Thought: Discussions between J. Krishnamurti and David Bohm

Do not miss the chance to read this book.
If a person has any interest in understanding the behavior of man and what is needed to actually remove mankind from the endangered species list this book is essential reading, there are no substitutes. Follow their discussion and you will be exposed to a direct insight into the mind the universal mind of which your mind can not be separated from. Being a separate entity is an illusion sustained in the process of thought.

Challenging Reality
‘The Limits of Thought’ requires much attention, this book is a documentation of the investigation into Mind, Man, and Soul.

Extremely worthwhile.
These dialogues verify many of my experiences acquired in my forty year study of metaphysics. Krishnamurti is 'right-on'. My only wish is that David Bohm had added more from his point of view (i.e. The quantum physics 'String Theory' suggests the observer influences the observed.). But Bohm's clarifications and questions make this book extremely worthwhile for any interested reader.

more provocative exploration of our minds.
some are repeat publishings of older compilations, others new. Once again a challenge to our sluggish avoidance of our deepest psychological distortions.

Fragmentation
Divine Asymptote: A Radical Vision of the Grandest Unification  Always a problem, particularly in the West, is that the vast majority have absolutely no context by which to begin to assimilate Krishnamurti's message. The Western mind has, for the most part, a fragmented perspective on reality, making K's meaning practically inscrutable to its ear. Without that context there is little chance that significant numbers will ever be exposed to his insights. Physics, and particularly David Bohm's fragmentation paradigm, provide a singular vehicle which can open the door for many. It creates a context within which the scientifically minded can begin to fathom (perhaps for the first time) the implications of the unfragmented reality. www.divineasymptote.yolasite.com

an in depth analysis of the limits of thought
An excellent investigation of thought by Krishnamurti and Bohm. The style is one of question and answer, first the illuminating insights of Krishnamurti followed by the in depth questioning of Bohm. At times one gets lost in the concepts Krishnamurti uses to expand on his views but in the nick of time Bohm clarifies the issue with his well known brand of questioning. It is indeed rare to find such a book which so deeply investigates the subtlety of thought, its construction of the `self' and its uses and abuses so to speak. As typical of Krishnamurti and Bohm this book is important and lacks any kind of fantasy component or unecessary terms. Perfect for psychologists, scienists and laymen.

Enjoyed the conversation
JK has keen insight. Bohm is sharp and perceptive. The two great minds. Conversation is much more than a light read. You will enjoy even more if you have some context of the topic that they are discussing. Not for the uninitiated.
