I bought this for temporary privacy solution for my 16’ doorwall until I’m ready for the expensive purchase of window treatments. This product worked perfectly. I purchased the frosted privacy film. It lets plenty of filtered light through. You cannot see in or out, day or night. The quality is very nice. It was easy for me to install myself. It does not have an adhesive and goes on with just water. I think it looks great and my husband asked why I didn’t purchase it sooner! I would definitely recommend!

Excellent Privacy and Sun Protection - Easy to Apply! I’m very impressed with the HIDBEA One Way Window Film. It provides exactly the privacy I needed during the day while still allowing me to enjoy the natural light. Update since I wrote this review: I have had these up for several months now, no issues what so ever. I live in Houston where our windows sometimes sweat, I've had no issues with this film staying on. I can leave my blinds open all day and when I go to bed I just close them. No one can see in but I close them in case someone gets right up to the window and peeks into a crack where I might not have cut the size perfectly. I know a few others have said theirs hasn't stayed on the window. I did clean my windows pretty hastily, but did clean them before putting my film up. Hope this helps. First Review: I just put this up today in one of my windows. I have no idea if it will stay put so check other reviews for that. What I know - it is absolutely what I wanted. It lets so much light in but doesn't show in or out. If I was close to the window, it might show an image but I'd have to be really close. It's plain, mostly opaque, and went up easily. Here are my tips: I didn't have everything to complete the job so I used my pancake spatula instead of a squeegee, I didn't have a box cutter so I made a template ahead of time and used that to trace and cut the exact size I needed. I didn't have a spray bottle so I had a small bottle from Bath and Body Works w a small amount of fragrance left - poured that elsewhere and used that small spray bottle. So, the biggest challenge I had was trying to pull the backing off, it took me a long time with each. When I do the other window, I will peel, then use my template, and I will make sure to leave something small between the backing and the window film (a sticky?) so I don't take five minutes each time trying to separate the back from the film. Hope this helps. I love open windows - live in a downstairs apartment, I will be able to raise the blinds all the way up and no one will be able to see in but I'll have the light!

Gave good privacy in a bathroom window easy to put on and cut

This HIDBEA FROSTED WINDOW PRIVACY FILM works as advertised--it provides day and night privacy protection. (Check the product description when choosing Hidbea film, because some versions of the film do NOT provide privacy protection at night when lights are on.) When cutting the film, I could see my hand through it, but objects that are 4" or more from the film are mere shadows or totally invisible. The hardest part of the installation is cutting the film to your exact window size. I made cardboard templates to fit the windows, then used the templates to mark where to cut the film. When the film is cut to the correct size, it goes right up on the window. You spray the window and the back side of the film with plenty of soapy water, and the film stays in place or can be repositioned. A squeegee is required to remove excess soapy water and bubbles. The film backing is extremely thin, and I could NOT remove it using my fingernails. However, a single-edged razor blade inserted between the backing and film lifted enough of the backing to get it started. Then it came off smoothly. For soapy water, I used a small spray bottle filled with water and several generous squirts of Ivory Liquid dish soap.

Easy to install but and looked great. After about a week started coming off from the corner.

We love this product. It was easy to install and works exactly as advertised. The film goes on pretty easily and is perfect for the patio door. It reduces the heat coming through. We need to order again to do a few more windows in the house.
