Nice toolbox to store all my battery cable ends in. Nice size, decent metal, nice paint. The latch was cheap, but I can get passed that.

This is a great toolbox, exactly what I needed for my tools. The insert tool tray is steel also, a huge plus that I wasn't expecting. That's the best part. Update: I had ordered this toolbox three times. The first two times, the toolbox was damaged. The packing box that the toolbox comes in is very tight, almost the same size as the toolbox. So the latches are really close to the packing box. During transport, other boxes and things bang up on the packing box and the latches poke through, and then the latches get bent up all over the place. So I returned the toolbox and did this twice. Finally, on the third try, I put a special note in the gift note area, even though it wasn't a gift, hoping someone at Amazon on the seller would see it. I said, please pack the toolbox and packing box inside a larger more room box; the latches keep on getting bent. This time the toolbox came completely intact and damage free! I was so excited! I really wanted this toolbox, it's a fairly big size steel toolbox for large items that is open inside, no drawers to pull out. It also has the steel tray that can be removed. All for $37.99. You can't beat this deal!

I recently got a nice new shed in my backyard, which means I'm acquiring some nice new tools. I obviously wanted a nice new toolbox to store these tools. And yes, I wanted a METAL toolbox, not a plastic one that could be mistaken for something I'd take along with me on a fishing trip. I quickly discovered that finding a metal toolbox wasn't as easy as I expected. Many were too small, too big, or simply too expensive. This one seemed to be big enough and for a fair price. This toolbox arrived quickly, and unlike other reviewers have said, mine did not arrive in poor shape. There may have been a very small ding on the lid, but nothing worth complaining about. I definitely like the metal tray inside the box, which is a clear upgrade from the plastic trays you might find in other toolboxes. I don't see anything wrong with the hinge on the lid and haven't experienced any problems with getting the box to open and close properly. Another reviewer was disappointed with the latch quality, but I haven't noticed any issues. In fairness, mine is going to be sitting on a work bench in my shed-- I don't intend to be carrying it around with me anywhere, so the matter of latch and handle quality is a moot point for me (but again, I didn't notice any problems). I'm not great with properly identifying colors, but I'd probably call this graphite rather than black-- which is just fine with me. One final note is that when I peeled off the sticker, it said Made in China. I prefer to buy American when I can, so keep that in mind if those kinds of things are important to you. Ultimately, I wanted a metal toolbox for my backyard shed. I'm not a contractor and therefore don't need to lug this around with me anywhere. This toolbox fits my needs perfectly and appears to be durable enough for its intended purpose. If I had any complaints, it could be a little bigger, but I'm definitely happy with this purchase. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could and would recommend this to a friend.

This metal tool box is thick, strong and large. It can handle almost my tool.

Decent toolbox. All metal box and tray. Good size, a ½" breaker bar will fit in the bottom (diagonally). Nice latches and carrying handle. The handle bar on the inside tray has slightly sharp edges. Recommend buying stick-on rubber edge guard like this: https://a.co/d/4akLfl4 to cover them. Sturdy and lightweight. Good for holding tools in your trunk.

Title says it all. Is a nice toolbox, but arrived with dents, dings, and slight damage. These types of toolbox’s are tough to come by though and will likely get worn down with time. Would have just liked this item to be in better condition coming out of the box.

I bought this mid-size toolbox as a Christmas gift for a younger boy, to be his very first toolbox. I was going to put some basic tools in it as a ‘starter’ tool kit for him. Despite the shipping box looking intact, the toolbox arrived smashed, crushed in hard on its right side. It had to have happened even before the thing was boxed. A replacement was sent which looked much better, but the latches on the replacement box wouldn’t quite latch right. As I was trying to get one latch secured, it bent rather easily in my fingers. I was able to bend it back and finally make it work. Overall, the quality is poor. At this price point, I thought it would at least be a decent ‘starter’ box, but it’s pretty disappointing even for that.
