This seemed an ideal vegan friendly, non-peat compost and was a suitable size, but my tiny flat is now awash with small black flies. I think they are fungus gnats, so I have also had to buy some gravel to put on top of the compost to discourage the gnats. There are still little flies in the bag of compost, so I cannot recommend it.

Have used this to repot our indoor plants over the last 6 months but there are these tiny little flies that come from the pots and the left over mix in the bag, there is an endless supply of them, in the hundreds, all in our flat... Essentially renders the product unusable indoors unless you're also running an appropriate eco system with predators to kill the flies... About to throw it out and will not be buying again unfortunately.

Good for of vegan proposes. I have a sensitive plant (Tulsi) and needs very good soil, this one is doing the job, I put some seeds last week and small plants are coming up, already...
