Adjustable tension & pressure.

This device has a nice adjustability to it, but for me, the part that pokes into you patellar tendon is not broad enough and focuses too much pressure in a small spot. Ouch; tried adjusting it and it was either too loose to support the tendon or it was definitely pinching. Couldn't hack it after an hour or so.

This is the BEST! Convenient and easy.I have arthritis in my knee. This strap has made it possible to walk without pain. My son in-law was recently injured and I bought one for him!! He loves it. You can adjust the pressure knob to fit your needs.

After wearing it around a few hours, you forget you even have it on. it's black and fits under a pant leg pretty well. The dial does jet out a little, but nothing too obtrusive. The best part of this is that if it loosens, you can just dial it up without having to completely remove it.My husband has a job where he constantly has to kneel on his knees and support his weight on them. When he kneeled, he was unhappy to find the metal in the brace dug into his knee. He immediately took it off and tried to readjust, but it just wasn't able to be adjusted in such a way that would be comfortable while kneeling.Although he won't wear it at work, he has been using it at home and the gym. It gives nice, comfortable support if you are walking, running, or sitting.

I like how you can just turn the dial to tighten it up or loosen it up.
