Well made board, but very slick and cannot add grip
This is a pretty well made "penny board" (as the small 22-inch ones are called). It has pretty decent wheels and trucks, the deck of the board is SUPER heavy duty plastic of some kind (also heavy weight), and it all seems pretty much indestructible. For this reason, it's great to have around for kids to play on. You don't have to worry about anything breaking.However, I'm taking off a star because the top of the deck is kinda slick compared to regular boards with grip tape or sandblasting. There's a molded grip pattern, but it's not very effective and it actually prevents you from adding your own grip tape. The price is also a bit high in my opinion, although I concede that it might be the demand of COVID summer making inventory thin and price a little high (currently $62).One more tip. These penny boards are best for young kids. They are too small for adults and in my opinion even too small and hard to ride for pre-teens and teenagers. Hope this helps!
