Nice price point, good solid composter, does take some assembly time
This is a nice composter, especially for the price. It is fairly sturdy and will be useful in our garden. It's not too heavy and not overly large. I do recommend having 2 people put it together and it does take a little time--the "barrel" part comes in panels that have to be put together, there are several panels, and then it has to be mounted on the legs.

Pretty decent but center divider *** DOES NOT FIT *** repeat *** DOES NOT FIT ***
First, the pros: 1) Extra screws and nuts were provided. This is rare nowadays, but this came with 4 extra sets of screws and nuts and 2 extra center pipe end caps 2) The nuts are self-tightening: you only have to get them started a few turns then you can screw the screws from the outside (with the included Philips screwdriver) and they will tighten without having to hold the nut with your finger or a wrench. This is key since it is hard at times to wrap your arm inside of the bin to hold the nut while tightening the screw from the outside. 3) Thickness of the plastic is pretty good for what this is. It presents as fairly sturdy when assembled. 4) Large size. I got the 43 gallon model and I can tell it will hold a lot of compost. 5) The tumbler rotates smoothly and easily. 6) The legs are sturdy and easy to assemble. Now the cons: 1) not that easy to assemble. I'm 60 years old. I've been around the Ikea block several times. I've assembled huge pergolas and gazebos and carts and sheds and all varieties of machines and devices. I have every tool. I can do plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, both rough and finish, drywall, irrigation, tile and marble. I've done it all. But this wasn't that easy to assemble. The worst part was thinking the center divider should fit nicely into the center grooved channel that goes around the inside perimeter of the tumbler, when it doesn't even come close. I think the manufacturer said, "let's use one center divider for all the different tumblers we make, fit be darned." I spent more time trying to make the center divider panel fit than assembling the rest of the unit. Check out my pictures to see how poorly it fits. I tried flipping it over, rotating the divider every which way, but nope, didn't happen. 2) You have to work your way around the tumbler, adding one panel at a time. It was difficult at times to hold the panels in place while I was screwing them together. There are these raised, stubby posts that are supposed to snap into holes on the adjacent panels and many times the snap was not as snappy as it should have been. Some of the connections seemed a little loose but upon completion, the sides seem to have pulled together as a team and the weight of the compost may push the edges out enough so that those posts snug up against the holes. Summary: I believe this was worth the price and it will function well for several years.

Seems like its great. Other than receiving a cracked part
So ima give it 4 starts because I received it cracked, pic loaded. But will adjust if needed. This took me exactly 58 mins. I was watching TV so maybe it can be adjusted. The amount of screws scared me! But it was simple. I did this as a woman on my own. Until the last 2 screws I Needed husband's assistance. It turns easily came with everything needed. Seems heavy duty 43 gallons. The size is extra large material seems sturdy and maybe will put weights on the legs if we have bad winds. The lid slide in tough so I don't think a animal can pull them away or take them off.

Assembly is not that scary…
Yes, assembly took me about 90 minutes BUT it was simple. You do not need to be a mechanic to put this thing together - just need to take the time! It’s affordable and I like that I can move it around my yard if need to. I’m happy with the purchase so far, but I haven’t actually composed anything yet…

Complicated to put together but excellent product!
There were alot of parts to put together and a lot of bolts and nuts. The hardest part was the divider panel came off the track while we were screwing the last panel on. But we got it together by hanging tumbler on the rack and working the divider panel back and forth til it got back in the track. Product works really well .

Dual bins good for continuing composting, opening size is too small
Was delivered quickly and all parts were present. Not extremely hard to assemble although a second set of hands would have made it much easier as you're assembling, holding parts in place and screwing it together all at once. I love the dual bins so you can work on finishing compost as you are adding to the other side. It seem as if this will work well but time will tell as it fills and gets heavier if the center divider will hold in place. I purchased this unit to supplement my existing roller bin which I was continuously adding scraps to and never was allowed to fully finish. Biggest concern after using for several months is the bin openings. The sliding doors work but fall off easily when opened wide for adding scraps. Always having to pick them off the ground. They do slide back on easily so it's a minor inconvenience. Only real negative so far is the size of the opening. If you're putting a handful of scraps in you're good. Trying to dump a large bowl or a composting bag from my counter top scrap container is difficult. It's a struggle to work the bag into the opening and I have to guide the "dump" from a larger bowl with my hands. It's messy and often some misses and falls to the ground needing cleaned up. Over all it's functional with a few months of use. Not the easiest to load and I wonder about emptying after compost processes. I would probably not consider purchasing knowing the loading difficulties as I do compost a large amount of scraps.

Love the two chambers and tumble feature
I replaced my old compost bin that required a long stirrer to mix it with this tumbler bin. It's so much easier and more efficient as I've gotten older. It's sturdy once it's assembled, but I would have loved a second set of hands to hold things in place as I worked on it. Overall, the assembly was manageable although I didn't receive any extra screws and needed one. It can't cost that much more to throw in 2-3 extra (they're tiny) screws. The two chambers is nice. It's 1/3 filled and out there doing it's job so I'm happy with the purchase.

Assembly is annoying but the product is good
The pieces all fit together just awkwardly enough that assembly is a pain. However, for the size and usability, it's worth the price. The instructions are decent, but I did have to wrestle one of the metal pieces with a set of pliers because the inside was bent in.

Works great
This is the best compost bin I have ever had, it’s easy to assemble and cooks the compost quickly. It turns so compost is ready to use quicker than a stationary bin. One side can be emptied while the other is left to compost. Easy to use! We have been very happy with it!

Great composter.
Great functional design with 2 compartments, easy to rotate and put a pail underneath to drop ready compost into a pail, for vegetable garden. Assembly instructions are well illustrated and described. Use of nuts and bolts is tedious and time consuming. For the fastening I used 3/16 inch diameter and 1/2 inch long rivets. That is much easier and much quicker. I would have given this product 5 stars if rivets and a tool would have been provided instead of nuts and bolts and a screwdriver.
