This was a wonderful introduction to Welsh mythology/pantheon. It gave the tales and suggestions for rituals and meditation. The pronunciation guide was a great help too.

I ordered it for a friend as a present. She's way in to that stuff, and it was on her Wishlist. 10/10.

Gods and Goddesses of Wales is a valuable and comprehensive introductory guide to the traditional deities of the Welsh landscape. In this slim but accessible book, Quin takes the reader on a historical and spiritual journey to meet gods and goddesses such as Arawn, Rhiannon, Blodeuwedd, and Llyr, amongst others. As well as sharing the major myths and legends, Quin provides information on how to honour and connect with these deities in modern Pagan practice, and how to take this further in your personal spiritual and/or magical work. The author is upfront that a lot of this book is born of her personal experience and insight, so I did work to keep that in mind as I read it.It's very short (as is the nature of this series from Moon Books) and I most appreciated the author's way of breaking down the various deity or deity-adjacent figure by summarizing their primary appearance in the Mabinogi.I had a hard time trusting the author much, however, after they wrote that ADF stood for "American Druid Fellowship" instead of Ár nDraíocht Féin. Their tag line is "A Druid Fellowship," but that is not the meaning of their acronym. That lack of research and understanding in something that is specifically referenced makes me a bit uneasy.All in all, a decent primer to understand the main characters in the Mabinogi. A "sparknotes" version, if you will.

Ancient gods and goddesses of Wales. Written very vividly by an author who obviously enjoys her knowledge and has shared it with us in this short book. i really enjoy having short books in my kindle collection as it means I have a very wide variety of subjects available all the time!. I am loving it.

If you are interested in Welsh Celtic Paganism this is the book for you!

Very good introduction to Welsh mythology and the deities therein. Of interest to all those attracted to the Mabinogion. Great.

A lot of information packed into a small book. Halo Quin clearly knows her subject matter well and has produced an extremely useful, well written book. Highly recommended.
