My husband bought this pipe thing. Apparently it is not sold at our local hardware store. Got the job done.

Great
These are excellent for attaching PVC to corrugated drain pipe. I used them to attach a 4” French drain to several 4” PVC outflow pipes running through a concrete wall, using Y-connector pieces. I wanted a more robust pipe running through the wall, and these worked perfectly for the transition.

I purchased these to couple ribbed ABS to black iron drain pipe. I had to use hose clamps to tighten the connections because the coupling leaked on gravity fed pipe. I do not say this to degrade the product, since this is the only thing that I found which will accomplish that task, but to inform.
