My blinds were not opening and closing any longer when pulling the strings. I took it apart and found the reason. Shopped on Amazon to find the part, ordered it and replaced it and now my blinds work great!

Extremely easy fix. Worked like a charm! Saved the price of replacing an entire window of blinds.

Make sure the size of the hex hole on the old part is correct for what you order. Mine is a older model blind and takes a 5/32 opening, not the 1/4" that this one is. The product itself is made well. This was a lesson learned. These do not fit my blind.

Low price, perfect fit allowed for easy install

You wood think for expensive blind purchases (Levelor), you could find local help and info. No that wasn't the case. So, I again turned to Amazon to find out how to fix a problem with our blinds. Thankfully, I found the answer here and more. Ordered these parts for two blinds that would no longer tilt. My daughter installed the parts in minutes. The blinds now work as if new. Ordered more parts for a few blinds that are showing the same symptoms of not wanting to tilt. Wish the parts were totally metal so that plastic would not wear out. Without finding this solution, I'm afraid that I would have had to purchase new blinds. This fix saved lots of money and learned that this is an easy problem to fix.

I purchased these in mid-December 2023 to replace several broken tilt mechanisms in my Levolor blinds. Installation was easy; there were no issues. However, these look and feel extremely cheap and low quality. Fast-forward to today, and several have already broken after very light usage. They no longer tilt the blinds and spin freely. These are poor quality and do not last.

This tilt mechanism was the right one for my Levolor blinds I bought almost ten years ago. However, this part was not available at the same big box where I bought the blinds. I ordered several in case the others need replacing. I watched a few YouTube videos and replaced it myself. Problem resolved.

We have some 10-year old blinds from SelectBlinds where the cord pull stopped turning the blinds. Called the company to get a replacement tilt control, and they don't make them for this model any more. Searched around on Amazon and most parts were too tall, so tried this as a sort of Hail Mary -- figured worst case, I was out $11.These really couldn't have been easier to install (I'm not much of a handyman) -- the worst part was the fiddling with the tiny cord from the existing blinds, but that would have been an issue regardless of which tilt control I was trying to use. Threaded the cord, snapped the unit into place, and everything is working just like it did when we got them a decade ago.Really hoping none of the other 8 sets of blinds in the house develop this problem, but if they do, I know what part I'm buying, and that it will take no more than 10 minutes to replace (and most of that time spent tying tiny knots in tiny cord).
