I needed to install my first ever French drain because the jerk next door to me has diverted water from his property to mine and it floods my house. This little grate fits neatly on the 4 inch slotted drain pipe and provides a way for water to drain rapidly away from my house.

Very well made. This should hold up for many years

Dimensions are larger than 6x6, did not work without some adjusting in a 6" block wall…

Bought this to create a drain for our AC runoff pipe which drips into my front flower bed and was creating a small pond in the summer.Seems to be working well and catching the all the drips; however, it's now autumn so the AC isn't running all that much. So I won't really know if it's working until it gets warm again.I added a section of PVC to the bottom and have it draining into a small pit filled with gravel (and covered with soil, level with the drain). I'm not concerned with moving the water anywhere, just keeping it from pooling on the surface of the clay soil and creating a unsightly muddy mess.

Used as yard drain covered over with river rock. Easy to install. Seems durable. No concern about being able to withstand bearing weight of someone walking on it. Drains well.

Fit into pvc pipe perfectly. No issues. Arrived in new condition.
