Bontrager’s Handbook of Radiographic Positioning and Techniques 10th Edition

I work at a Spine Specialist Clinic and I can do all the X-rays for the Spine with no issues. Every once in a while the doctors will order other X-rays that I have not done in a longgggg time. Sometimes you just need a refresher. That’s exactly what this book is. I can look for the X-ray that was ordered and flip my book open and get a little refresher before I get the patient back. I love that it shows you how to do the same X-ray on the wall Bucky as well as the table. I do like how you can write down your machine settings for a small, medium, or large patient. This is a great book for someone who is a new X-ray tech. It’s a small book and can fit in your purse.

I got this book for college through Amazon because the price was so much better than the bookstore!!

I love how easy this is to reference in a pinch during clinicals!

I strongly recommend investing in this pocket guide. It is very detailed in the most compact way. However, I do wish the images were in color to better see the central ray.
