I have been crocheting for many years, and arthritis has started limiting what I can do with my hands. While working a project, my standard hooks were hard to grip because I can’t close my fingers as tightly as I used to. It became very frustrating, and my hands would hurt from trying to squeeze to control the hook. I ordered these hooks, and I am glad I did! The soft grippy handle makes the hook so easy to grip and control. I can move through a project so much more quickly, and I’m not having to re-do stitches. The length of the hook overall is a bit shorter than my standard hooks, but I got used to that quickly. The hook size is easy to read, as it is imprinted into the handle, rather than being stamped on, do the size won’t rub off. The hook itself is nice and smooth and doesn’t wreck the yarn. The set has all the hook sizes you typically need, and a bunch of row markers that I haven’t had to use yet. I wish I had these long ago!

Not bad quality if you are seeking an easy way to get ergonomic hooks when first starting out or wanting to learn. Handle feels okay and hooks work well. Though size scale if best for projects requiring smaller hooks and the size engraving is a nice touch. Stitch markers are stiff and small but is expected from plastic. One note is with some yarns or depending on how tight you stitch the yarn squeaks on the hook. So if you are sensory sensitive keep that in mind.

Left is this product, right is the same size hook from Michael’s which goes for $2.99. These hooks are of the same exact quality of the anodized hooks from Michael’s, except better thanks to the deeper hook that makes it harder for the yarn to slip off. Also not flimsy. If you were to buy every one of these hooks individually from Michael’s, it would cost about $42. This was only about $9! Such a good deal. I’m pleased.

good crochet hooks. they are definitely not anything high end but I wasn't paying those prices. lightweight and have a tinny feel but they are perfect for the beginner to learn crochet and has the basic tools needed to get started.

You get every size of hook you could ever need, scissors that are super duper handy, stitch markers, needles (both metal and plastic), a tape measure, needle threaders and the cutest case!!! If you're looking to have a complete set of everything you need to crochet this is a great set to buy and at a good price!!! A single hook at walmart is 6.00 + tax!!
