Stopped working after a few months.
I’ve bought 2 of these over the past few years and both have stopped working within the 24 month warranty period, as it states in the description. I’ve tried to contact the seller through Amazon for “carefree refund/return” and can’t get anyone to message or call back. Don’t waste your money, spend the extra and buy OEM or Delco.

Ugh. I guess It’s a car thing…
Ordered this for my brother because he doesn’t have Amazon. (Seriously?! Who doesn’t have Amazon these days??🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️) and it messed up my review streak! So here we are.I will say….he likes it and it’s still in his truck, and his truck still runs - so that’s a positive, right?

This works. Confirmed
Unit is exact match to OE. I had an issue in my 2003 suburban 4x4. It was stuck on 4auto. It would not switch to other gears. This item does not come in neutral. You’ll need to remove the cover and manually put it into neutral before installing. Your transfer case also needs to be in neutral.Go on YouTube and watch and install video. My problem was fixed after replacing it. How long will it last? We’ll never know. But it’s a great temporary short term fix until you can buy OEM GM. But so far, no problems.I recommended buying

Does what it says, doesn't cost much
Direct fit and 100% compatible with my 2006 Z71 Chevy Suburban. The stock motor had brush heads that separated from the contactor and caused the encoder motor to go into "unknown" mode. I bought this, slapped it on in less than an hour, and 3 months later here in the north-east USA, I'm still able to use 4wd with no problem. Do yourself a favor and don't reuse the gasket on the motor when you replace it, just order a new one.

Not checked before reselling
It is obvious this part had been returned previously and resold to me. The main motor gear was broken into several pieces, which shows it was never checked for defects before putting it out there for sale. I managed to disassemble my old unit, to use the old gear and replace the busted one in the new unit. Returning the part and waiting for a refund or exchange was not practical due to the immediate need to use the vehicle. CHECK YOUR RETURNS BEFORE PUTTING THEM OUT TO BE RESOLD!

1st pt I received failed but the Co. stood by it and sent a new part out asap. Great company
I really liked the customer service. Sometimes parts fail and in my case I just happened to get one that did but the company stood behind there product and sent a new part even when they didn't have to. It was a month past the return window. Great company to work with I would recommend them to everyone.
