The Irish Granny's Complete Cookbook

It's full of easy to understand recipes each with a full colour picture. The recipes are split up into 15 sections from Breakfast and Potato-based Main Courses to Preserves & Drinks and An Irish Christmas. The recipes are in lbs and oz and kgs and grams. There's tsp and pints Vs mls and litres. There are also 'Granny's Tips' on some recipes which include serving suggestions, ingredient replacement options, storage ideas etc. Every recipe also tells you how many servings you can expect from each of them. Please check that for every recipe as every one of them is different. It's not what most people would consider a 'normal' sized cook book as you can hold it in 1 hand. But as everyone knows, good things come in small packages 😊 I really can't praise this book enough.

To many foreign recipes to pad this out...but to have on hand for the irish ones its not bad especially for ideas or just oh yea haven't had that in a while...its not but its not great...what drags it down is the foreign recipes whats the point, irish granny's didn't know them especially for the era this books title is trying to evoke.

love this cookbook. Made soda bread on first day..likely will make another tomorrow..many reciepies will be used on a monthly basis..

I am very happy with this book. There are tons of recipes in various categories that I plan to make. It covers traditional dishes: shepards pie, fish and chips, etc. It has more than I ever imagined or could have hoped for. There is a multitude of recipes I plan making and then some just to try. There is a picture for each recipe and its very easy to follow preparation. This book is well worth the price of admission! It's small, but it's a perfect size for me. I thought going in it would be too small, but its perfect for me. Arrived in new condition. Seems amazon is improving shipping for books because the box was form fitting and didn't allow the book to bounce around inside the box. Thanks amazon!!!

Received in great condition, I love the square shape of the book. The instructions are very clear and the photos look tasty. I bought it as a gift for my daughter who loves cooking. She was delighted with my gift , so I’m delighted with my purchase.

nice little book, small size but quite thick and comprehensive, nice images, good quality. Perfetc as a present for example.
