Excellent Value!
First things first, I always consider the price in terms of what I am paying for a given product in relation to the overall value/rating. That being said, this is the most inexpensive mechanical numeric keypad that I was able to purchase onAmazon as of 5/24/2020. I only use the numeric keypad when I am working which involves entering in a lot of numbers generally between 4-6 hours a day. Please Note:I specifically purchased this numeric keypad and a TKL keyboard with the intent of modding and lubing them so with that being said let’s get to it. Here are a couple of things that stood out right away for me.1. I noticed that the keypad was not leveled. When I hit the escape key, the bottom right hand side of the keypad would lift up quite a bit.2. I noticed a prominent pinging noise when using the keypad. The pinging noise bothers me, but considering the price this can be easily overlooked.3. While I appreciate the fact that they provided any type backlighting, at this price point I would have much preferred a simple white LED over the blue LED. There is a switch on the back to turn off the blue LED if you wish to do so.Mods:Lubed the switchesAdded o-ringsChanged the keycapsSanded down the upper right rubber pad to level out the numeric keypadPainted keypad case white satin finishWith the modifications, this is an EXCELLENT value. The numeric keypad has a nice, smooth typing action while being quiet at the same time. The gray and white keycaps along with the white satin finish make it uniquely classy. Overall very happy with keypad :-)Items used for mods on the keyboard and numeric keypad:YMDK 125 Keys ANSI ISO Keyset OEM Profile Thick PBThttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q87PZXN/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_e7V4Eb5710CWQKeycap Puller with 200 PCS Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampenershttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z58855B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Q8V4EbX3677H0Super Lube 21030 Synthetic Greasehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WLQ251B/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_g-V4EbR8M8D5CSuper Lube 51004 Synthetic Oil with PTFE, High Viscosity, 4 oz Bottlehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UKUHXK/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Q-V4EbJW3NDHEMix Ratio = 6 to 1 = 6 Part Synthetic Oil to 1 Part Synthetic GreasePrimer Rust-Oleum 327918 American Accents Spray Paint, 12 oz, Satin Blossom Whitehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B079KH8LCH/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_y5V4Eb3QKWA1VFinish off paint with Enamel = Rust-Oleum 7791830 Satin Enamel Spray, 12-Ounce, Whitehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Z8FGII/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_mYV4Eb4B0MG3CSandpaper Sponge For Wet Dry Sanding, 60 80 120 180 220 320https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082798F1D/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_o9V4EbQ8TGX9X

Cheap but Great Value
This product is pretty cheap (the cheapest red switch keypad I could find) and it feels quite cheap too. Regardless, it is mechanical and functional. It works extremely well for the price and I would recommend this unless you really want an ALT key on your keypad. One problem I had with this keypad is that there is no ALT key and if you hold down ALT on your keyboard to use an ALT code, it doesn't work since the two are independent connections. I'm not sure how it would work if you plug your keypad into a keyboard with a USB slot and have that connected to your PC but a quick fix that I used is to bind the asterisk key on the keypad to ALT so I can use alt codes. Other than this issue, it's been working very well.

3 star out of the box... a solid 5 star after modded
Out of the box and stock this numpad is only average. The Outemu switches are awful. Massive rattle/ping to them. The keycaps are actually double shot, but very thin plastic and cheap feeling. The backlight is not that great, but that doesn't bother me, I just keep it turned off anyhow. Having said that, for $15, this is a great little board for modifying. I unsoldered all the outemu red switches, and replaced them with lubed Gateron yellow milkys. Also replaced the stabalizers with something a little nicer. Then finished them off with some thick boy XDA profile keycaps. I freakin love how this keypad turned out, and it's perfect. I already had the switches and keycaps. An hours worth of modding, and well worth the $15.

USB-C?
I combed through the available information for this device. I needed a 10 key that would connect to a usb-c on the computer. This device has a USB-C connection on itself, and the other end of the cord is a normal USB. So you will need an available standard USB connection on the computer. Please be precise with your device information. "No drivers required,Type-c usb interface. Supports NumLock, ESC, Tab, Delete etc." And yes I have a dongle for it. I was looking for devices that plug directly into the USB-C connector.

A good numpad, with some strange decisions
I wanted a classic style numpad(don't care about the additional row, but don't want a split enter/+/0 like a lot of other ones).Works well, the additional row is nice but that's where the first weird decision is: esc, tab, backspace; so far so good. FN - the only functionality it provides is that backspace functions as '=' instead. Why not just have it instead of the fn button? The other thing is the backlight. The blue looks ok if you like it, but the when numlock is on, the "num" button will always be the opposite of the rest of the keyboard(on when the backlight is off, off when the backlight is on), so if you want it to be always on you get this oddity all the time.As a keyboard it feels nice, I'm not familiar with mechanical keyboards, but it is nice to type on it as far as I can tell.

Clickity clackity
I'm not going to review on the functionality since I am essentially using it for a fidget toy for my daughter but the materials are high quality and the clicking of the keypad is on point. so all the keys feel right, just haven't been able to test it out with connection yet.
