This mirror has quickly become an essential part of my morning makeup routine.First of all, the magnification power is fantastic. This mirror worked really well, until I needed to replace the batteries, and now it no longer lights up.

This is a great makeup mirror! It magnifies 10x totally without distortion. (Great for grooming eyebrows!) I particularly like the swivel base. I was at first a bit apprehensive that I might break the ball joint off as I tried to swivel it upward, as it was stiff at first. But that is actually as it should be since you would not want it to flop down. It seems very sturdy and I am pleased to report it stands well on a level surface such as a counter or table without using the suction base. If I had one suggestion it would be for some sort of widely based cap over the suction mechanism so that I felt doubly secure. Space is at a premium and I never intended for it to remain in sight on the counter. However I do find the bubble wrap pack around the mirror, along with the box, to provide protection for storage in my cabinet.The light encircling the mirror is nicely bright. It changes to 'warm light' with the touch of a small circle on the mirror itself. There is a power switch on the top of the round frame, at the front. Easy to use.I looked at various mirrors before deciding upon this brand and I believe I made my best choice. I am definitely pleased. The company has emailed me twice to check my satisfaction with the mirror. That is unusually good follow up. I can recommend this mirror.

The mirror itself was clear and had good magnification. The light was poor and it used batteries up too fast. Also the suction stand was useless. Because I needed a magnified mirror for travel asap I kept it but just used without the light. It was okay till I dropped it once, then it fell into pieces.

I've had several of these mirrors--square, square with the gooseneck, and this round one. I have left a few in hotel rooms and some, like the square mirror on the left finally broke, but only after providing lots of satisfaction. This round mirror is different and BETTER because the bracket is mounted near the side/bottom, not in the center. When the mount is folded down for packing, it hangs over the edge of the mirror. Black box on left vs white box on right shows how much less space it takes in a suitcase--2-5/8" high vs 3-1/4". I have seen square mirrors with the mount off-centered. But make sure you get one off-centered if you are going to travel with it. I wouldn't recommend any with larger than 10X magnification as you must be right next to the mirror to focus. When hotel lighting is bad, I have mounted the mirror on an exterior window and put my make-up on using exterior daylight. Love these.

I recommend this mirror to men of all ages. A regular bathroom mirror will not expose your facial imperfections, razor cuts, scratches, and ear and nose hair like this will. As we get older, it's harder to grow the hair we like on top but easy to grow the undesirable nose and ear hair we don't. With this magnified mirror, you'll have complete vision control over seeing and cutting these embarrassing hairs. It's better you see them first than others. With your nose hair trimmer and an electric razor after wet shaving, you'll eliminate all unsightly, unwanted hairs as you pinpoint them with this mirror, including the hair you missed while wet shaving. If you like to use makeup to conceal undereye darkness, to add a tanned look, to conceal nicks or scratches and to take shine off with some powder, this mirror is going to be the tool for you. I stand my mirror on a shelf vertically. I have not tried it horizontally. If you want to look your best, facial, nose and ear hair will not stand a chance with this fantastic mirror. I highly recommend it.

A little disappointed. I really don't know how to use it, it shows image too large or too far. It is difficult to use. However, it stays in place on my mirror it also gives a long enough battery life
