A good band saw for the price.
I've been looking for a band saw for a while. This one stood out in the reviews as it has a fairly powerful motor and bearings top and bottom for aligning the saw band - It came really well packed and felt robust as i unpacked it. It is fairly quick to assemble, however it takes a while to set up properly. The handbook has good photos of most steps- text can be a bit ambiguous.Once it's setup- I tried a few test cuts then went through the setup process again - a few tolerances needed resetting. Ensure the table is absolutely at 90 degrees to the saw band and you get spot on cuts. It's already saving me loads of time in the work shop and it's very quiet. It has a dust extract port that I've connected to a cyclone and shop vac so only a few crumbs to tidy up after use. one final point - it has an extending table - I though i might use this - I tried this for a larger piece and it is very helpful. So far I'm really pleased with my purchase.

An excellent Bandsaw.
Having checked the specifications of many different types of hobby band saw I finally kept coming back to this one. I have not been disappointed as it is just what I need.I use it for general diy, so it is not for a busy workshop, however I needed it to have a couple of speeds, an extending table and a good cutting height of 120mm.A must for me is to have above and below the table, roller bearings to take the side and rear loads of the blade. This machine has this feature; so many budget machines do not. Also it comes with two blades. It took a couple of hours to set up correctly.I now have a usable machine that cuts straight or freehand with ease. Also the 500w motor has useful extra power over the other budget machines that usually have 300-400watts. For me it has been a very good choice.

perfect for the home workshop
An ideal machine for the home workshop for tackling intricate work or ripping down deeper timbers. Ideal for cutting tenons.. The tilting table allows you to work at 45 degrees and it also comes with a spare blade.Very happy with this.

Can’t cut straight
First I had a good impression but I found out it does not cut properly after a couple of use. It’s impossible to get a straight cut. I do not recommend.
