I'm 5'9, 165 and wear pants in a 34 waist with a Gould and Goodrich velcro/no buckle belt. I've tried a few different holsters to conceal a G19 with little success. This holster, however, is the most comfortable IWB I've tried so far. Below is the Pro/Con information.Material:Pro - Good quality leather. Very soft and the upper support strap layer gives enough structure without being too stiff or bothersome. Plastic belt clip is very sturdy and adjustable.Con - Being leather, the body will collapse slightly. This is good for comfort if you remove the gun while sitting or driving, but it will require caution and careful reholstering. But I don't consider this a 'combat' or 'training' holster. This is a comfortable, last resort type holster, so quick, efficient reholstering isn't a priority. But it's something you should be aware of if it matters to you.Comfort:Pro - Very comfortable. The limited bulk allows pants to wrap around the holster closely and not create big empty pockets of space and take up too much room. I have a Crossbreed, but I never liked the width of the kydex and how the pants must stretch farther over the holster which leaves gaps. The leather is also very thin and adds little bulk.Con - Single point attachment, so depending on your clothing/belt choices, it could cause them to sag with the weight of the gun. This also comes from the shape of the clip. It goes over your pants and under your belt, so the belt isn't supporting the weight directly. This holster is held in place with surface friction and tension from the pants and belt. So, you need a good gun belt, but pants of a flimsy material will sag slightly.Suitability:Pro - Rides low on the lowest setting and offers very limited printing or none at all, depending on shirt selection.Con - Rides low. Some people may not get as good of a grip as they like, but that depends on cant and depth setting, which is adjustable. All in all, this is the most comfortable and concealable holster I've used so far. It has allowed me to start carrying my G19 comfortably and confidently, which I could not do with other holsters before.

These sof-tuck holsters always come through.
I've used this holster for over 4 years for a glock 36. After trying various different holsters from various materials and price ranges for a couple other guns I own, I make sure to buy one of these desantis sof-tuck holsters along with any gun purchase. For my glock I didn't even bother buying another. For me the price is always right and never much more than 20 bucks. You always have the option to tuck your s*** in. The draw, for me, is always smooth. The cant is adjustable and there is a leather piece along the lip to hold it open and assist in reholstering. The quality on all of these has, so far, been amazing for the price. All of mine, even after daily use, are still intact-no stitches unraveled or clips breaking. To address a couple complaints I've read on other reviews; When you have a belt on tightly and you draw your weapon- re-holstering may take two hands. It is just leather and it will sometimes collapse even with the reinforced lip. Mine doesn't collapse much with this gun and i can usually reholster with one hand- but occasionally I need to suck in my gut or use my other hand to make space in my belt or something. Your alternative is a rigid holster like a kydex if u need a fixed holster opening, I guess.I've heard that it is too thick due to that reinforced lip. I have not really had a problem with this. Mine doesn't print.. but I wear big fall colored shirts too. I've heard people say they get a thread puller and remove the reinforced lip to rectify this-but as I said- this hasn't been an issue to me and I prefer the lip to reholster. And finally. .. I've heard people complain about the retention on the gun being weak ( even on the glock 36). This one I don't understand. If someone pulls up my shirt and pulls my gun out -yeah, it's coming out. But I can run/jog/sprint, sit and move freely without an issue. I haven't tried cartwheels or anything but I've never had an issue with this. Maybe this is preference because I've had some holsters where u have to work to draw your weapon- I prefer a smooth easy draw.I definitely recommend these-- even if just a back-up to your more expensive holster.
