what does pv and sv stand for? where can i see the manual?

PV = Process Value, SV = Set Value PV will be the reading from the sensor and SV will be the target value that you set

How do I set this to controll temp? My package is labeled ihc-200 which is just a humidity controller. Am i missing something?

This unit only controls humidity. They sell another unit to control temperature

will this device work to control the humidity by hooking this up to a heating rod: Rod will heat up when temp drops below 50 and stop whe above 52?

The inkbird measure relative Humidity, not temperature. So the heating rod would only turn on when the relative humidity drops below, or goes above a certain point depending on your settings. Does it work with a huminifier

This is essentially a digital switch. It turns one outlet on or the other depending on humidity. One is for a humidifier, other for a dehumidifier. If you have a analog humidifier it will turn it on and off so as long as you already had the device turned on.
