I’m happy they work

Simple and basic padlocks I needed to lock some outside sheds. The sheds aren't built with the best security so I needed a padlock that was OK but I didn't want to have lots of keys. These were good value and should do the job. They are only to deter an opportunist rather than a determined attack.

Used these to lock bin chains. Started to become hard to use after 9 months. Fully seized closed in less than a year. I oiled these several times and even that didn't help.

I bought these to replace another Master padlock that I use on my gym locker, after losing my key. They had to cut it with bolt-cutters and it took them a LOT of effort to get through it, so I figured it was a decent lock. I thought these were exactly the same, but actually they're the next size down so are a bit slimmer in all dimensions, so probably not as strong, but good enough for my gym locker. Probably wouldn't lock a bike up with it!

It isn't really weatherproof but it is pretty hardy. Ignoring the low security of the master lock system, it's a decent purchase just as a minor deterrent.

I am moving into a new condo that provides me with 4 storage lockers in my garage space. I was tired of trying to find the right key for each lock, so I purchased these keyed-alike Master locks. They're pretty small, but they work perfectly. I wish they had come with more than two keys, but if I lose the keys, the locks are small enough to be cut easily with bolt cutters. They look good and so far have resisted rust.
