Perfect for camp/beach packing
We use this for packing for camp. The wheels may it easy ho transport, it’s waterproof, and so far 2 boys at camp haven’t made a dent in it so great quality. We also use it to take food/essentials to a Airbnb. The latches are on both sides so the top comes off completely so it’s easy to get into. Just bought another one for boys number 3 to use yo take to camp.

Durable, good value, high quality.
Love these for my car or work. They are a hint more expensive than the 10-12 dollar bigger moving and storage totes you’ll see at Home Depot or Costco. But these are very strong, carry easy. I have size small, they’re just really high quality, I could sit on these and the top wouldn’t break or even cave in, they’re durable.

Pack It Up!
Perfect for any use. The design makes it easy to get in to. The wheels on one end make it easy to transport. Size it spacious. Quality is sustainable. The locks are secure and leak proof. We use this packing for trips, storing stuff in the garage and carrying our dry stuff on the boat. Definitely a multi-use item! We have 2 and will probably get more!

Low profile and very water resistant, but a bit flimsy
Great totes for the money.I purchased two of these medium-sized 1719s, as well as one of the longer 1919s, for my camping gear that goes up on the roof rack. The existing totes I have are a bit tall and have no latching feature so I wouldn't want them up top, exposed to the elements and acting like a giant sail on the highway. The main reasons I chose the Sportsmans over something like an Action Packer wasa) They're low profile for less wind resistance,b) The locks & latches felt more substantial and secure than others,c) Much easier to strap down or stack securely, andd) The cost -- Action Packers in particular are stupidly overpriced these days.Overall I think these are pretty well made. The way the lip of the lid comes down generously & tightly over the bottom half, they are very water resistant and will no doubt keep the contents dry in heavy rain on the highway. Unlike other "water resistant" totes, there aren't any features located where water could seep in: the hinges and padlock holes are all moulded separately on the tub from where the lid mates up.To make them dunk-in-the-lake waterproof, just purchase some rubber tubing or weatherstripping from your hardware store and stuff it up into the lid channel (like Plano does for some of their waterproofed 1919 models). My only gripe is that the bottom-half plastic is a bit on the thin side. When it's all latched together it's very strong. I'm 200 lbs and can stand on these without any flex. But with the lid off, that plastic below is a bit flimsy. It makes me wonder how much rough & tumble abuse these could really take before cracking or deforming. But, in Plano's defense, ALL of the manufacturers these days seem to be going as thin as possible on their plastics.... Even the Action Packers are thinner than they used to be. But I'm confident these will hold up reasonably well and are a great buy for the price point. For anyone looking at the model 1919, it's a very similar story: fantastic water resistance, latches, and usability but the plastic on the bottom half is (especially on that model) just wayyyyy too thin for its size and has no moulded support so it feels flimsy while you're loading it up. But when the lid is latched on, it feels pretty solid. And since there seems to be some confusion: the models 1719 and 1919 have removable lids - just the 4 latches hold it on. If you want a hinged lid, the model 1819 is roughly the same as the 1919 but with a hinged lid AND 4 latches (2 in the front and 1 on each side) so it's a bit more secure.

Superb, Durable, Safe, and Secure Storage.
These Plano Trunks are excellent: sturdy, yet lightweight; wheeled, yet stackable They aren't waterproof, but they keep splashes and dust at bay and keep out the mice and pack rats that plague us in Eastern Oregon. I've used Plano totes, tool boxes, and tackle boxes for decades and highly recommend the company's products.I'd like, however to give Amazon ZERO stars because they flubbed this transaction sending the wrong color twice and making returns so difficult that I kept the lot rather than scanning QR codes and driving 90 miles round trip to a return center. This pleases Amazon, I'm sure, because it is so consistent with their customer service strategy and their incomparably intelligent bots which understand every variable and nuance of their customers' needs.

Durable, Spacious, and Worth Every Penny!
Durable, Spacious, and Worth Every Penny! The Plano Sportsman’s Trunk set is absolutely perfect for organizing and protecting gear. Each trunk is solidly built—thick plastic, secure latches, and strong handles that make it easy to carry. The stackable design is a huge plus, especially when space is tight.I use them for camping gear, tools, and seasonal storage, and they hold up great even with heavy use. The lids close tightly, keeping dust and moisture out, and the size is just right—big enough to fit a lot but still easy to move around. The fact that it comes as a 3-pack makes it an incredible value. I’ve already found myself using every single one and could easily get more. These trunks give me peace of mind that my gear is safe, organized, and ready to go whenever I need it.Highly recommend to anyone who camps, hunts, travels, or just needs rugged storage at home or in the garage!

Favorite camping tote
I really like these totes for camping. They come in handy for everything. They are durable and I have only broken 1 so far. I dropped it with a lot of heavy stuff and it broke the corner out. It was also about 10°F so the plastic was a bit stiff too. These are a cheap option compared to a lot of other similar ones. The latches hold well and keep raccoons and small animals out. I use them like stools, and leave them out overnight in the rain. Everything inside stays dry because the lidOverhangs. I also like that the lid doesn't go down into the tote, it is molded up so it doesn't eat into the tote capacity, and makes easier packing since you don't have to consciously underfill. It's a good size that's not too heavy even if you really stuff it full.
