Everyone should have a fireproof, waterproof file for peace of mind. This one is high quality, sturdy, locks for security, and is a good size for files. This is a great product for the price. Highly recommended.

The customer service at SentrySafe/Masterlock is incredible. I had a small issue with my safe, and they made the situation right. I absolutely recommend this product, or another from the Masterlock/SentrySafe product line, because of their response to my issue alone.The safe is alright. It's nothing to write home about, and that is to be expected at under $100. It is the exact width of a "normal" manila folder, and it would be nice if it was just *slightly* wider. I would like if the lid had some sort of resistance to prevent it from being slammed. I don't have any major issues with it and I don't feel as if I'm going to break anything unless there is a manufacturing defect or I mishandle it.The handle does flex a little if you try to open the safe while it is locked, but it fine with normal use. The key isn't reinforced and will bend if you push on it the wrong way. The gasket might fall off and need to be put back into position before shutting the lid again.Those issues don't worry me now that I've dealt with their customer service department. I contacted them for one of the issues I listed above and they fixed the problem quickly and completely. Fantastic customer support.Fantastic customer support.

A heavy and secure safe. It holds a lot and is easy to set up. I feel secure that my belongings are in here. To be sure everything is safe, I also enclose them in baggies for water tight. This safe is easy to place in a small place and know that important papers are safe.

This is a very nice safe. It's large enough for a 3-ring binder and folders. One area for improvement is they could have built in handles as the safe is heavy and the surface is slippery, which makes it difficult to carry and move.

This product is great for keeping your valuables safe. It has a generous storage capacity, easily being able to store full sized paper documents in addition to any other valuables you need stored. It has a sturdy build that keeps it firmly in place without sliding around. The safe provides peace of mind that my valuables will stay protected. The locking clasp can be a bit stuck/difficult to open at first, but after a few uses it isn’t an issue.

Nice fire safety and records storage box for home. File folders for 8 1/2 by 11 documents fit very nicely. Thinner 3 ringer binders can be stored. Not overly large interior but should work very well for most homes.

Very heavy, solid document safe. The inside cavity is the perfect size for regular size hanging files, with good capacity. But be aware, and I am sure it has to do with fireproof capability, the safe is heavy and awkward. We have a small platform with rollers, and without that I would have had a very tough time moving it to the storage area. The key lock lid is very secure. It is very reasonably priced.

Size is adequate hanging folders and a couple of 2" binders, credit cards and important documents. Fire resistant and waterproof.
