Roving Cove Furniture Edge Protector, Desk Edge Cover, Large 6ft Edge Only

I got this to protect my new marble countertops from my swivel barstools (FYI, lighter-colored granites are actually usually marble and much softer and more likely to chip). It’s the perfect thing for the job! It’s comfortable and blends into the stool backs pretty well, and it was really easy to install since it’s made to go around an edge already. Getting the tape on was a little tricky, but if you have a friend who can straighten the foam out for you while you apply it, that’s simple too. Or you can use a couple water bottles to hold it straight.Totally different use-case than normal, but works perfectly for it! Now my kids can swivel their hearts out on these stools and I don’t have to get rid of them.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this edge protector. The material feels soft, thick, and very cushiony while still holding its shape well. It was easy to cut to the length I needed, and the adhesive made installation quick and simple. It stays in place securely and provides great protection for sharp edges. Overall, it feels like a high-quality product and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

This edge protector is thick, sturdy, and provides good coverage for sharp corners and edges. It feels durable and does a good job adding extra padding where needed. It was easy to apply and stays in place well once attached. I like that it blends in fairly well and helps make furniture and hard edges feel safer without being bulky.

I just finished a little project in my bedroom, which is a small cramped bedroom because I have too much furniture and too many things in there.But I put a very narrow table between my bed and the window. This narrow table is supposed to be placed behind a sofa. I used this table because it has electrical and USB ports on the top so I can plug-in whatever I want right there.My problem is that my bed is a twin XL, which is narrow and the table is right next to my bed so I often wake up in the middle of the night because I bang my knees on the table.After enduring many bruises, I clipped a piece of black foam rubber along the edge, but it kept sagging in the middle so what was the point?I finally got fed up and searched for a product that would cover furniture edges and of course I found it on Amazon right away.I couldn’t believe I found these thick Edge Protectors that fit perfectly on my table. I bought the Roving Cove HeftyFit Edge Protector 6 foot one in onyx Black.After reading the reviews about the adhesive tape that comes with the product being difficult to remove, I decided to use some sticky squares that I’ve used before.I used Birllaid Mounting Squares 1”x1” Clear Adhesive Removable (for wood, glass, ceramic, walls) that I bought here at Amazon.These mounting squares really stick yet they can be removed afterwards. It takes some muscle work and manual dexterity, but you can peel them off and they don’t ruin your original surface.I took some photos to show you my process. I’m an artist so I have a metal burnisher.You stick one sticky side of the mounting square to your furniture, or whatever you’re sticking the Edge Protector on, and you burnish the shiny covered part to make sure adhesive is completely flat.Then you just peel the little plastic flap on the mounting square and pull it off and it exposes the sticky surface.Then just press the Edge Protector down, keeping it taught as you go along the edge. It’s pretty easy. I did it by myself but another pair of hands would make the job easier.I’m really impressed with the finished look and also like the feel of it. I think this is going to save my body from future bruising.I would highly recommend this product. Play around with the adhesive tape. You don’t have to use the tape that comes with the product, I didn’t.Good Luck!

I looked at a lof of these edge protectors before settling on this one. One of the reasons I purchased it was the chemical-free claim and the fact that you get to choose where you put the tape, different from the brands with the adhesive already attached. I did not want to ruin the wood on my coffee table so I was able to position the tape only on one part of the padding so that it's stuck to the hard metal edging and not the wood. I bought two rolls of it to be able to cover both the top and bottom ledge of my coffee table and I could not be happier with the way that it looks and how soft it is! Not only does it look good and add a nice padding to the hard ledge, but my granddaughter has already pulled on it multiple times and it stays in place with only one strip of tape holding it on! Highly recommend.

The adhesive tape isn’t good

These are great for protecting edges, but kind of bulky and easy to pull off. My kids just love, pulling them off over and over again. Defeats the purpose of buying them.. They are easy to install, but again easy to get off.

Does not stick comes out. Hence if no use. Please return.Please refund.

It keeps the edges of the bed covers and my baby is very safe on bed now.

This edge protector has been holding up decently well although it does come off on some of the edges but it is nice and thick foam

I have used something similar and it’s stuck very well. This was very poor quality and peeled off in less than a day.
