I use this as a snorkeling guide to point out fish and sea creatures in the ocean. It hasn't rusted one bit, its durable moving through the water too, hasn't bent or buckled at all and it still collapses smoothly. If it works great in the ocean classroom it will work even greater in land applications. It's even been bitten by eels and pulled on by Octopus and it's still working perfect.

was hoping for a pen sized pointer, this one is hugee lol it's like a wand, good for college professors and big class rooms for sure just not suited for what I need lol

Okay, so I purchased this for not what it was intended for. I bought this for when I play ball with my dog as when he fetches the ball he will not bring it all the way back to me so I was in need of a product I can pick it up with. This works GREAT. It has a telescoping handle and a string handle you can attach to the end.

Excellent tool for business video presentations in both function and appearance. The act of extending the pointer and retracting it seems to attract more attention and add more flair than a laser pointer for short-distance screens and whiteboards. Highly recommended.

We bought this for an off-label use. Our apartment has 12' ceilings, and our smoke detectors like to go off while we cook literally anything. Because they're so high, we can't just reach up and hit the mute/test button. I bought this with the hopes that the pointer was sturdy enough to press the button when fully extended, without compressing back into itself. Well, for that use, this is perfect. I assume it would be perfect for just about any similar use ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
