Crave Pixel 4a Case, Dual Guard Protection Series Case for Google Pixel 4a - Forest Green

Tl;dr: I think this is a great case for the money. It's well made, comfortable to hold, and comes in an assortment of good colors. I definitely recommend it.I got this a month or so ago and have enjoyed it so far. The button covers on the side are shiny silver-colored plastic and poke out a bit far from the rest of the case - some people will like this, some people won't. I like them, myself - I'm very neutral on the silver but I like the way they feel and how solidly they click.My last few pixel 4a cases have been caseology pallax, which I also liked, but there are only two fun colors. There were several good color options for this case, my favorite being "blush" (which is really more of a warm coral). The picture on Amazon and the irl case look about the same, so the color wasn't misconstrued, in that sense, but blush isn't the name for this color.I haven't had any big drops with this case but my phone has definitely fallen off the kitchen table onto the vinyl floor, off my desk onto the industrial carpet, from my pocket to the grassy ground, and the like. So far, it has clattered instead of shattered and I'm well pleased.The front has a bit of a lip to protect the screen ans the material is very comfortable. The back/sides is lightly textured and the darker smooth part is... Smooth. Nicely so.The review page prompts me to rate the "fingerprint reader" so I assume it means the cut out for the reader, which is perfectly sized. There's a bit of phone back visible around the sensor but that's how it has to be to make the hole an appropriate size to touch your finger to the sensor. I've had no issues accessing the fingerprint reader. (no issues with the reader itself, either, but that's a phone review)It has gotten a bit dirty right in the lip around the screen and back corners but whatcha gonna do 🤷🏼 In my experience, cases never stay clean and I don't really care. Maybe it'll come clean with a lysol wipe or a magic eraser - and maybe it won't. I care much more about having a fun color than not showing dirt; if I wanted it to stay clean, I'd have gotten black from the get go.

Overall very attractive case and nice feel. It looks high quality and I enjoy the size of the buttons. The mint is a bit lighter and more blue than it appears in the photo which I really love. I do agreed with others that the lip on the front screen is almost non-existent (see picture). While there is a thin lip there, because the hard frame doesn't come up around the buttons for the right side of the phone the rubber layer isn't held firmly in place so theres a bit of wiggle room. It makes that side of the case feel a bit less secure and I wouldn't be surprised if the phone became damaged if it were to land a fall on that side on case. For $10 I think this case is absolutely excellent for it's price point and it will be an excellent place holder if I need to replace it with something more heavy duty later.

Love the color!The texture is cool but does seem rather silky which could present issues. When placed screen down it doesn't seem to slide at all.It fits the phone snuggly and isn't too difficult to remove.The popsocket stuck fine. It was peeled off my old case and re used here after I cleaned the surface with alcohol. Idk if that's more of a testimony to popsocket but the point is popsockets should stick fine if it's legit brand. I wanted to stick the wallet on and had to use a dot of super glue so the texture will inhibit some things.I enjoy the more sturdy buttons. They feel substantial and satisfying to press as opposed to a work out for your finger tips.Fingerprint hole hasn't been an issue even with all the ridiculous add ons I have there. It's a new phone though and the sensor is super sensitive. Not to mention I have slender fingers.It is slightly bulkier than the Spigen cases.Can't speak to its durability yet but it's a cool looking case with some limitations that seems comparible to other highly rated Amazon cases.

I recently purchased the new Google Pixel 4A. Due to this I was in need of a new case to protect the phone. The two parts of this case have so far done a good job of protecting the phone. The fit is good, the openings all line up for ease of use. The inner case is softer & more flexible to provide a soft cushion around the phone. The harder outer case provides a durable shell. The case is easy to use, sized to allow use of a screen protector and has a nice, snug fit on the phone. Great product at a very good price.

Never cracked my phone, felt comfy, never chipped, color is quality and you get what you payed for

This phone case was perfect for my Google Pixel. I used this cellphone for work purposes and it never failed! I would highly recommend this brand! Very easy to install, and I personally love the color of the case.

I like dual layer but still slim phone cases. This Crave case (mine was for the Pixel 4a) was exactly what I wanted. It fits great, it is as slim as a dual layer case could be, and the outside is nicely textured. I have read some other reviews where they complain that the hard part of the case is too slippery even though its textured, but mine is not slippery, I'm not sure if it has been improved, but mine is not slippery. I also read where people thought the buttons are too large, but the case buttons are the same size relative to the case as the actual buttons on the phone are to the body of the actual phone, so Crave just duplicated the size of the Pixel's buttons. My one complaint is that the ridge on the front that keeps the screen from touching when it is face down is, I think, just a bit too shallow. With a tempered glass screen protector, it is really close to touching when face down. It doesnt touch, but its closer than I would like. Other than that very minor complaint, I dont see what more you could ask of a slim dual layer case for any price, much less for only $11-$12.
