Strong and smooth
Super smooth and not a single problem trout fishing all last season. Drag is very smooth and strong. Great value.

Decent for the price
It’s pretty decent for the price, I think it needs to be greased better before product is sent out, but quality seems good for the price so far

Very nice
I’ve had this reel for about seven months now. I have fished hard for more than 50 years in salt water. I’ve worked at one of the finest high end fly and tackle shops there is and sold spinning reels, always being critical of any flaws I’ve noticed. Believe me there are many in a lot of today’s reels. This reel, specifically the 2000 series, has yet to show me any flaws. For a no nonsense, solidly designed, well built, smooth and balanced reel, I definitely recommend this one. Color me very impressed, especially for the price.

Very smooth reel
I bought a 4000 that was so smooth and well built that I bought a 2000 to use for bass fishing. The spool has a crosshatch design to keep braid from spinning when lining the reel. The handle is comfortable, and the bail feels sturdy opening and closing it. The drag dial turns smoothly, and the detents are crisp. I plan to buy more when my older reels need to be replaced.

Smooth and sturdy. Feels like a higher end Shimano to me.
I like that the line did not get easily snagged on the reel. Very sleek design.
