Easy to setup and bright
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is my first set of smart bulbs. I was not very eager to pay $20 per bulb for something that is more fancy than useful, but this pack of 4 was affordable enough to give it a try.I have to say I am very satisfied with these bulbs. The setup was simple enough with the Gosund App in my phone. The app allows to power on/off, change color and make the light dimmer/brighter. In reality, I do not think I will use it as all, as I plan to use it mostly with Alexa. The setup with Alexa was again, relatively easy. I just had to add the Gosund skill and follow the setup instructions. The only confusing step was when the App asking me my phone number to log in, as I had created my account using an email. Turns out I just had to input the email address in the "phone number" field and it all worked. After that, Alexa has been able to recognize all the bulbs, and it has all worked perfectly. For example, for my bulb that I have named "lamp" I can just tell Alexa "turn lamp green" or "make lamp brighter" and it recognizes it without issues. The only caveat of these smart bulbs is that they need Wi-Fi on at all times to be able to recognize the "on" button. That means that even when you turn them off with the voice command, they are still consuming power to keep that Wi-Fi connection. The only way to get them to stop consuming power is to turn the lamp switch off manually. This is not an specific issue of these bulbs, but it is just needed for all smart devices and, while it is not a lot of power, it might add up if you have too many smart devices at home.Overall, I am very happy with these bulbs, and I am using them in several of my kids lamps so they can play changing their color. After my son's initial failures to get it to turn "black" and "rainbow" (really?), he is now having a lot of fun playing with them!

Nice bulb, somewhat limited integration
I do really enjoy these bulbs. Easy to add. Works with Google. There are two disappointing things (but not major)...1. There are some cool features that have the bulbs change colors that appear to only work through the native app, not through Google. I didn't try with Alexa yet, but I prefer the Google Assistant.2. These color change settings (I think they're called Scenes) can be customized, but it doesn't appear that you can add new ones. It looks like you are limited to changing the ones that are there. That provides some flexibility, but if you like what's there and want more, you may be out of luck.

I am so excited
So I have the smart gosuna plugs and I just love them Great price and excellent quality, so when I was looking for smart light bulbs I went to a brand I used and trusted naturallyWell my light bulbs arrived today and I could not wait to test them out. The setup was super easy, just download app on your smartphone and follow the instructions. Now when i'm away from home, I can schedule the lights to come on and go off at various times. I got the 4 pack so I had one for each visible room at the front of the house and just one for a room at the back of the house. So far so good. Extremely excited about my purchase 💕💃

I wanted so badly to give these a five star review, because they are a great value.
I wanted so badly to give these a five star review, because they are a great value... but they arent going to work for my needs, so I wont be buying anymore. Here are so pros and cons:Pros:1. you dont need a hub for these to work, and they're affordable. As long as you have strong internet and a capable router, theres no reason why these wont work perfectly for you.2. The colors at full brightness are gorgeous.3. They work flawless with alexa4. The price. Duh.5. The 'white' setting matches perfectly with all my other tungsten bulbs in the house. Virtually no difference.Cons:1. Dimming on colors changes the color. So if you have it on 'sky blue' and dim it, it will become more of a pink color. I cannot find a way to fix this, and some colors dim just fine.2. Dimming on 'white' results in a vague flickering, like it cant quite handle being dimmed that low. I tried multiple levels of brightness and it happened at everything except 90% and above.3. There is no 'daylight' white. Just warm white. I was hoping to have daylight white for in the AM to help us wake up--will need to purchase a different brand to do this.4. The one bulb just turns on randomly in the middle of the night? No clue why, I've tried resetting it up but it just does it every now and then.5. packaging was SAD. But hey, thats what you get when you wanna save $$.SO. There you have it. They work great for basic purposes but not for what I was looking for. If you dont have a problem with the dimming issues and the 'white' limitations, this is a perfect setup for you. Hope this helped.
