Stockton Low Twin Bunk Bed, 4ft 6 Double

Not for a first time DIY job but if you've built stuff before and follow the instructions it's not too difficult to build, you'll need 2 peopleBuilt it, used it a couple of months, took it apart to move and been using it a few more months since. Solid, no complaints other than head bumps

We are living in a small flat and hence im looking for a space saver bed like a bunk bed. I would like to say that I like this product because it fits upto 4 persons on it (2 persons on top, 2 on the bottom). You would need a mattress that is about 15-18cm thick for your safety specially on the top bed.There are different options to choice from single to double size to trunk bed. It is made of a thick pine wood and it is sturdy which met my expectations.The only thing I had a little difficulty is the assembly part as some of the measurements given on the manual may not be the same with the actual parts hence we need to adjust but still went well after.As compared to similar products I know on the market, this is so far the only one that offers double bed size for both top and bottom bed which I need the most. I have been using it for more than a month now and I can say that I have no issues with it so far. So we wanted a solid, sturdy double bunk and this certainly meets those criteria. To avoid insanity read, re-read and triple read the instructions - they are arranged in a very British mentality - this means that those of us who are used to either just pictures, or bang D into big thingyflap, foreign instructions - will be completely at a loss initially!! I like the way the instructions say "we", as if the designers are there with us whilst we are trying to find out what the hell to do with blue plank and screws in a white plank hole! The only real downside is that they use barrel nuts and bolts that are inferior - cam screws and bolts would be better and stronger here. So hunker down for a day, 3 people are better than 2, take your time - it is very easy to miss a step (pardon the pun), but when complete - solid, quality, good looking piece of furniture. Would recommend

Really happy with this purchase.Solidly made. As a family of 4 toddlers it’s really safe. Rounded wooden edges to minimise risk of injury if bumped into and a nice solid ladder that won’t slide about.Can’t ask for more at such a reasonable price.

Sturdy. Roomy. Brilliant

I bought these for two big teenagers. They are strong and feel safe. My brother built them with a little help. Took 3 hours. The teenager on the bottom bunk banged his head sitting up last night but I’m sure he will get used to it. The double size is fab! Especially two of them. Only thing negative to say is the brackets next to the ladder looks ugly. Shame they were not in the inside of the frame. Great beds at a decent price. Would recommend.

What’s not to like about these bunks, they are super sturdy & great for 2 teenagers who share a room, I didn’t know you could get double sized bunks but these save lots of arguments, very very impressed with the quality & didn’t take too long to assemble

Really disappointed. The instructions are diabolical, it took myself and my mum from 6pm to 2am to build, it’s a real pain in the backside to put together. The wood started splitting as we was putting it together and one of the ladder slats are missing. I’m not convinced of it being sturdy enough yet!To further add after two nights of my children sleeping in it we are taking it down today. My oldest who is only 9 was sleeping last night on the top bunk, this morning I’ve noticed the supporting strips of wood that go under the slats are splitting!Extremely dissatisfied with this, I’ve now had to purchase my children two new beds after only having this up for two days.
