Sharp Digital Alarm Clock, 1.8" Jumbo White LED Display, Dual Alarm, Black

I like this electric clock, big, bright, easy to operate and has a backup battery. However the price keeps increasing from 2023 $16.-- to 2026 $24.--. I purchased 4 over the years, gifts, etc., but if I need another clock I will do more research.

Good quality. Easy to use and set. It’s bright easy to read numbers. Nice size too have on the nightstand. We have 3 of them in the house.

This clock is very good. I only gave it 4 stars because of the dimmer option. It does dim, but still is "lit up" for a bedroom. I admit that it took 2 nights to get used to the "light". It no longer is a problem. It is small and easy to set up.

About 2 years ago, my cable company replaced my DVR with one that didn't have a clock on it, so I purchased a digital clock to go next to it. After purchasing several other clocks, I finally found this Sharp clock and I am very satisfied. Every other clock I tried either came with unintelligible instructions that looked to be translated to english via google translate, or had no means of not cycling between time, temp, and date every 5 seconds. Additionally, they all were poorly made and would need reprogramming any time the power went out, despite backup batteries. This Sharp clock is simple to program, with straightforward instructions. It doesn't have any unnecessary features, or pointless "modes". It's better built than a lot of the cheaper options, and if the power goes out, the backup battery actually does it's job so you don't need to reprogram it each time. I highly recommend this over any of the clocks sold here by brands you've never heard of.

I did a lot of research looking for the right alarm clock. In my area the electricity goes out a lot and I needed a clock that would keep the time on a battery backup if the electricity went out. I also wanted a clock I could see from across a large room and I wanted something simple without the many unnecessary bells and whistles that come with alarm clocks today. The price is unbeatable; I would have paid much more for it. An overall awesome clock!

Purchased a little over a week ago, it's been great, but this morning we couldn't get the alarm to shut off, tried everything...finally had to unplug it. I know it's a cheap clock, but geez...it's already having issues! I was going to just return it, but it states you need the original box to return and it has already been picked up by recycling. Avoid this piece of junk or at least save the box.

What I really wanted was a radio alarm clock. This is not. That being said, is not the fault of the product. What is also probably my issue is that I find it cumbersome to set the alarms. I do manage to get it done. I have to hit the button 3 times to shut it off though. The other thing, I usually am a light sleeper. But if I am sleeping hard, I don't think this would wake me up. The volume is not adjustable and won't be loud enough. It is worthless for my wife. One thing I really like is the large numbers on the display. The contrast is good and could be read from across the room. That being said, I will be looking for another new RADIO alarm clock. Would give a 5 on a 10 scale.

Easy to change the time and set an alarm. The display is perfect for our living room. Once we got rid of the cable box we realized how heavily our kids relied on the cable box clock. This was the perfect replacement!

I went through the trouble of getting a US-to-UK plug adapter for it. The screen lit up for about 10 seconds and then it died. I assume the screen is faulty because it beeps when I replace the batteries.

Recon it did not work as it was designed only for 110V grid. On the bright side appreciate automatics refund by amazon - no questions asked. The clock display is smaller than expected, and the design looks cheap. Even if it worked, 3 starts.
