Great screen.
It’s a great screen for my projector. The image is clear even during daylight. Don’t have blackouts in my living room but you can watch it pretty clear. This is a two people installation. If anchored to the ceiling get 35 pound each hooks, the ones provide by the manufacturer are pretty good for hanging small frames (I think the manufacturer has a pretty dark sense of humor with the hardware provided). Make sure it’s anchored to the studs. It’s a heavy screen to work it on your own. The wiring is to the left, so when installing either you get 4 cord covers and 6-16 feet extension cord to hide it on top of the ceiling to plug it or just an extension cord long enough to reach the plug, or marry an Electritian to install a junction box on the ceiling. Whatever works for you :) Try installing during summer, because the screen smells pretty strongly and you’ll want to keep the windows open until toxic scent number 5 is gone or light up a handle (away from the screen) or go wild with some air spray. I thought the smell was another dramatic review but it’s not. The motor is ok, yeah it makes a sound when going up and down, no drama there since I’m not going to be pulling it up and down while watching movies or tv. So if you love silence while watching movies, then this works for you. The screen is a bit wiggled. But doesn’t affect the image and I don’t feel like ironing the screen. I may ruin it. The best of this product is that, even though made in china, meets American standards and works as intended.

Great projection screen for a fair price
Review of the 100" 16:9 automatic projection screen. Overall, I am very impressed by the projection screen quality. The images are extremely vivid and clear. Installation was fairly easy, but it does require a bit of skills with power drill, tape measure and level to get it right. I did not use the provided hardware to hang the projector, but purchased the projection screen L shaped hangers from Amazon and used additional hardware to ensure they would not break from my wall. The on-cord up/down/stop works well and the screen comes nicely out of the enclosure and automatically stops. Same is when you use the provided remote control. He couple of items to note, which is why I gave this review an overall rating of 4 stars (and not 5). * The supplied power card with the up/down/stop control is a bit on the short side. When hung up close to the ceiling, it will not reach a power outlet that is not directly underneath the side of the projection screen side which has the cord. The cord should have been made longer from the controller box to the plug. An additional 2-3 feet would be great * The cord from the screen enclose and the cord going to the outlet enter/come out of the same side on the controller box. This is a bit odd, as it means that the cord on the outlet side if you hang the controller the right way with the up/down buttons, comes out on the top and needs to run back down the side of the control box. Not sure why they didn't build this to have the cord come in one and and out the other * The cord and the controller box are permanently installed to the screen enclosure. Here, it would have been helpful to have plugs on the screen enclosure to connect the cord, as well as on the controller box. That would also help during installation such that the cord is out of the way. And, if a standard cord was used on the outlet side (like for laptops/monitors) it would be easy to exchange it with a longer cord reaching an outlet, rather than having to use an extension cord * The screen has a very strong "new vinyl" smell - not unlike that new car smell. My recommendation is to leave the screen extended for a couple of days for the smell to go away, rather than retrieve it back into the enclosure * The screen has a very large "black" area at the top. Yes, I know this is to support the 16x9 form factor, but honestly, if it was not for the large "black top" the screen could also be used for other form factors, rather than "wasting" the screen real-estate. Other than maintaining the "illusion" of black screen borders, I don't understand the decision in this. All that said, the projection screen did come as advertised and displayed on the description page. I am very happy with the screen, just find some of the decision made to be a bit odd, and some small improvements could make a big difference and would in my eyes earn a full 5 stars at that time.

Excellent value for the money, and good quality.
I just received this screen - and (as usual) I had failed to read the listing carefully. It's absolutely HUGE, which was the point - but having the 4:3 aspect ratio, it rolls down WAY further than I need it to. Luckily, the instructions tell me there is a way to limit the max down movement (as well as max up) - but the instructions are not entirely clear on how to actually MAKE this adjustment - and sadly, there is no way to contact the seller to ask such a question, nor are there any posted instructions here. Not to worry - I will either figure it out (eventually), or I will just manually stop the screen when I have it rolled out as far as I need it to go. A bit of a pain in the neck that it doesn't just stop where I want it to stop, but given the sheer enormity of the screen size, it's a quirk I will learn to live with - until someone answers my posted question, or I figure it out for myself. Overall, the quality of the casing is excellent - sturdy and a nice finish (black), and the controls are simple and easy to operate: There is a wall-mounted switch as well as a remote control. The motor is quiet, and the operation is smooth. A very good value for the price. Other screens this size (120") cost twice as much or more. I upgraded from a 110" motorized screen (which was ONLY 16:4 aspect ratio, and therefore stopped at the right place) - and that screen is now going in the bedroom, with the new screen living in the livingroom / theater room. Very happy with the purchase overall.
