It quiets minor engine noise (does NOT have a hemi tick issue) and also flows faster during cold starts. My Hemi never sounded better. In fact it's so quiet I'm amazed! I used to use Valvoline Advanced Formula full synth (excellent product too) but I decided to try Royal Purple based on rave reviews. I couldn't be more impressed and happy with this product.

Great product I change my oil every 3,000 miles and have used this since the vehicle had 47,000 miles just recently did some upgrades to the engine and at 136,000 miles the inside of the engine is super clean.

I have been using this oil in my 2017 Ford F150 since I bought it in 2018, I used it in other vehicles before. Yes it costs a little more than other oils but to me it seems to be a better product. My engines haven’t given me any issues with this oil, and even changing my oil at 5,000 mile intervals the used oil is still sometimes purple instead of black. Ordered it from Amazon because it was cheaper than my local stores.

Been wanting to try Royal Purple for a while and finally gave it a shot in my daily driver. Engine feels a bit smoother, and startup noise is a little quieter than usual. The deep purple color is a nice touch and makes it easy to see the oil level when checking or pouring. Shipping was fast, but the bottle had a small scuff on the cap — didn’t affect the seal though. I keep this quart mounted in my truck using the TripleD Tools Oil Dock, and it’s held in nice and snug. No sliding around and always ready when I need it.

I'll admit that I was a Mobil 1 guy for a looooooong time. I bought a 3rd Gen Ram a few years back and always found myself topping it off every 1k. It wasn't excessive, and within the realm of reports from other Hemi owners but I thought there had to be something better. Tried some of the other name brand full synthetics out there, but they were all about the same. I decided to penny up and try RP. Long story short, RP really minimized the oil consumption I saw from the other oils. Moving forward, I now have a 4th Gen Ram with the Hemi and began using this right from the first oil change. I will continue using RP as I have no issues. I also began using RP in my zero turn mower and it runs smoother than it ever has. Maybe it's the purple color, maybe it's science, whatever it is it makes my engines happy so I am happy.....PS Amazon makes the price bearable and I have not had any issues with ordering the 5qt jug online. It always arrives sealed and no leaks.

This is the best synthetic I've used to date. Slight power gain, engine idles smoothly.

I have used Royal purple for a number of years. It has a significant advantage over any conventional or semi-synthetic oil. Cold weather starts are easier in winter and I have had no problems with hot weather operation.

I've relied on Royal purple for years in all my vehicles, well worth the price if you want to keep you vehicle for a long time.
