Purrrfect!!!
As a teenage girl who loves puzzles, I absolutely love Calico! The game pieces are bright and colorful, the cat pictures are adorable, and the idea is very unique. If you like challenging your brain, I would definitely recommend-but if you don't, there are so many other ways to play. The age I would recommend is probably around 10 and up, but if it is to hard, you can simplify it by playing a different variant. Additionally, Calico is not only a multiplayer game, but can be played solo as well. It is not very competitive either because everyone is focused on their own board. The quality of the tiles and board is amazing, and the artwork is too. The instructions are easy to understand, and include a place to mark your achievements as well. The value you get from this game is definitely worth the price tag. The strategy that goes into playing is slightly difficult, but once again, you can simplify it. All together, Calico is a brilliant, well-designed, puzzle game that is fun and (though difficult) is worth your time.

SO CUTE AND FUN TO PLAY!
This game can be surprisingly challenging but is so much fun to play. It involves strategy and analysis but you are able to compete with yourself to achieve personal bests. The boards and pieces are thick and well made but not too heavy. The kitties are adorable and the colors of the boards and pieces are pleasing. Altogether they did a great job with this game. It should be satisfying for most ages. It can be played quite competitively or somewhat cooperatively depending on how flexible with the rules you like to play. I recommend it.

If you love cats, buy this game!
This is such a beautiful game. The pieces are very good quality and so colorful. The game play is a lot of fun and gives you a lot of options. You can make it more difficult or easy depending on how you feel that day. I highly recommend this game. It is worth every penny!

Great game. terrible organization.
Such a great game with fun replayability and very darling. The cats can be a little confusing since some of the cutouts are similar to each other in pattern/shape but so cute One thing though. I've never seen a worse box setup for a game in my whole life. It had to have been a Kickstart or something to begin with because they give you 5 little bags for a 100+ pieces and say good dang luck (not including main tiles they have a drawstring bag). Had to buy an organizer on etsy. Even if you are using zip locks you need to have 10+ to organize well. Overall 5 stars for the game itself though.

I am so picky about board games! This one is good.
This game is cute, fun, and very accessible! I love that I could play this with my grandparents or my kids, or my friends! It really doesn't take long to learn the rules and get the hang of it, but it's still a thoughtful game, and it has lots of replayability. Highly recommend for basically anyone.

Love
This is super fun. Honestly, I bought it simply because of the cat theme. One of our teen girls is obsessed with cats and in a stage where she keeps to herself a lot. We wanted to get her back into family game night without pressure and this did it! It seemed really complicated when reading the instructions but we decided to just go for it and ended up really loving it. It makes sense as you go. I like games that require some thinking. Definitely a win at our house.

We LOVE this game!!!
I bought this game for my boyfriend for Christmas because it had a cat on the box :) little did I know it would become our absolute favorite game, and that is saying a lot, because we seriously have A LOT of games! This game checks so many boxes for us, it is the perfect amount of difficulty for our brains, there are so many various ways it can be played, plus it is so cute! It can be played in a way for kids to enjoy, but also has the potential to be extremely challenging for advanced gamers. The rule book includes multiple different game play suggestions and challenges to complete, it even has additional rules you can implement to switch up the playing style. We have been having weekly Calico game nights since January (its May as I write this) and we have no signs of getting bored of it, there are still so many ways it can be played that we haven't tried yet. I recently sent it to my brother and sister-in-law as a house warming gift because we adore it so much. If you love challenging strategy style board games (like Catan - but better!) that are different every time you play them, this is a great game for you.
