Bought it for my 8 year old daughter. Was not very optimistic about the quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has a wooden body ( sapele wood - very much like mahogany)with no edges anywhere. Strings are top notch nylgut strings. There is an auto digital tuner which does its job just fine, although one may want to use a better app for more accurate tuning.The sound is very sweet. Strings are of course easier on hands than steel. Very lightweight instrument. It comes with two picks and a bag. The bag is just a cover of coarse cloth and no padding, so I retained the bubble wrap that came with the package.The soprano ukelele is equipped to be fitted with a strap which makes playing a lot easier for adults especially while standing.
