Bought a new home in a new state and there was this filter already in place. Investigated the replacement cartridges and then bought these. Exact match and fit for the mechanism that was there. Installation took a bit of effort and some tightening of fittings to avoid minor drips. So, it all went it, fit, works and NO drips! Now for the great part. My wife and I stopped drinking bottled water altogether. This filter is in line and feeds our refrigerator water and ice dispensers. We drink 100% from the refrigerator water tap now. The water is cold and delicious due to this filter. The ice is also delicious! NO flavors and no contaminants or discoloration despite the relatively hard city water of our new location. When I learned these are the same filters used for years in cool bottled water dispensers and water fountains, (spoke to the manufacturer directly before buying), I took the chance - NO risk - great product. Will be a repeat buyer when I change these on the suggested scheduled intervals from now on.

Quick delivery in 3-day.It's quite easy to unscrew the screws on the back of the water cooler. It's a struggle to remove the filter.The replacement includes a simple one-page instruction on removal and installation.First, turn off the line. Prepare a bucket to place the used filter. Since there is still water in it, laying it flat will cause to flow out everywhere. The bucket contains the remaining water.Carefully lift the filter from its place. You would have to twist it about 1/4 turn. I don't remember if it's clockwise or counter but it only moves in one direction. If it doesn't turn or comes off, be patient. Do it a few times to loosen it up. Being this tight means there will be no leak.Once it comes off, put the spent filter in the bucket. Take the new filter, carefully line it up then twist & turn until it locks.You don't need any tools or extra force to take it off nor putting it on.Slowly turn on the water to let it run into the filter. Turn on the water cooler to let run a bit. Put the cover back and screw it on.After replacing the filter, I pour myself a fresh cup. It tastes very well. I enjoy the new filter.

Slide right into the dispenser we got from Costco years ago; I like how easy this unit is designed for filter swaps... local, in-line shutoff, unscrew existing one, drop it out, screw in new one.Be sure to try and get like 3+ gallons of water out of this thing, because as you fill it's draining the chilled or heated cistern first... so to flush the charcoal filter you need to completely drain those internal containers and make the unit run water to refill them.My trick was to get a large lemonade or igloo container and press both HOT and COLD paddles at the same time to drain the unit as quickly as possible and just hold it there, letting it fill it up.

I have bough these filters two times now. You can really tell a difference in the taste of the water that comes out of the water dispenser. It is easy to install, make sure you read the instructions though. Our package arrived on the third day after it was ordered. Satisfied with my purchase.
