The book "Smart Mini-Cameras" is an excellent introduction to a very relevant topic of modern imaging. It covers broadly on the state of the art, and with sufficient detaill concerning the fundamental and practical optical science behind the technologies. The book has confirmed many of my own conclusions about miniaturizing optical imaging systems in my independent work and research, such as what happens when one scales a lens down with constant f-number. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to know where to start in order to stay up to date with the current trend of miniature imaging systems.
