Easy install, smooth operation. Love it.
I added one of these to my shed and another one to my garage. On the shed, especially, the minute it turns on, the temperature inside the shed drops dramatically. the garage, not so much. Neither structure is insulated. But on the shed I was able to install it at the highest point up on the gable. the garage doesn't have a high spot, so it's at about the 8-foot level, and it doesn't cool as quickly as the shed. But all in all, these units are a breeze to install, and they use regular outlet plugs, so no electrical is needed. Easy to install, work great, and I can set the temp for when I want it to come on and go off automatically.

Creates a negative air flow, pulling out hot air!
I have a 12’x20’ utility shed, which I wanted to cool down so that I can operate my ham radios. A while back I installed a wind driven turban fan, which was just ok. I researched mfgr’s and found this unit - 12”x12”. Figured with Prime, I couldn’t go wrong. This unit was very easy to install in my gable opening. Leveled it and installed SS screws with washers. Hard wired an outlet up above. Plugged in the thermostat that came with it, set it at abt 88F and let her rip. This unit is excellent and incredibly Quiet! With the fan running, my turban fan runs backward to offset the negative air pressure in the shed! This is a Great unit - go for it, you won’t be disappointed! Really moves out the hot air!
Our 10x14 greenhouse was getting above 100 degrees inside on sunny 85-degree days, even with four opened windows, 2 HAF fans, and a 40% shade cloth. Warm air was getting trapped near the roof and couldn't escape, so we basically had a very large oven of sorts. After digging through hundreds of reviews, I decided to go with the iLIVING 12" exhaust fan, and it's been solid. I could feel a difference in temperatures within a few minutes. Installation was a breeze after framing in an opening and only took a few minutes. If I had one gripe, it'd be the blue tape applied to the louvers. I understand why it was put on, but there has to be an easier way to take it off. There were a few small sections that I couldn't remove, but fortunately, it's very hard to spot unless you're looking for it. Just single blue pieces of tape without them wrapping around the top of the louver would have been sufficient. We've received some ridiculously hard rains since the install, and I haven't noticed any leaks. As long as it's sealed well around the edges, then the shutters should protect the rest. The thermostat works great. I have the fan speed at approximately 80%, and have it set to turn on at 90 degrees.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy this same fan again if I needed another.

Works great for our greenhouse. The thermostat controller stopped working though.
Th fan works awesome! It has a motor that pulls the heat out of our greenhouse very well. It isn't very heavy at all, which made the installation very easy and the price was great! The thermosat control did stop working so I gave it a 4 star rating.

Solid fan
The media could not be loaded. I don't usually leave reviews but this fan is solid and I was struggling for a while trying to decide what to getBought two separately, both arrived undamaged and well packed. Both work incredibly well, powerful; good looks and weight. Foam added in key spots looks like it helps mitigate sound/help with insolationMade makeshift window insert out of 2x2's and put it next to the stove. Works much better then those dinky plastic window inserts you can find elsewhereNOTE:- Blue protective plastic on shutters has a noticeable impact so take the time to remove it completely- Fans can only exhaust air properly if there is an intake for air elsewhere. I'm not the smartest knife in the drawer, but the people whining about in other reviews clearly struggle to understand that- Shutters don't seem to open all the way but I don't see why they'd need to- Speed control LED super bright lmao

Super Helpful.
Bought this for a yard shed of mine and it really does help a lot. Shed gable averaged 120 degrees in the sun by the afternoon. With the thermostat dialed in, I got it down to 99-105, depending on how hot it is outside and how bright the sun is shining. Regardless, it does a fantastic job and I can actually stand to go into my shed in the afternoons now. Not to mention how much better that must be for all of my equipment. It seem to be built very well. It moves air very well too. It came with hardware to secure the cables and everything.

Good attic ventilation option
Love the ease of use and the set up was really simple! Framed it in, plugged it in and set it to the temp i wanted it to turn on and the rest was history! It does shut off and turn on by itself due to the temperature sensor that it comes with which is nice
