Great for the new iMac owners
I am a new iMac owner and have had my iMac for a month.I feel like I am ready to learn more about how to use it. This book is perfect for my purpose. It has 5 books in 1 starting with the basics of the Apple Mac which has 190 pages of information that is so helpful in learning about the Mac. The next book is Online Communications which contains over 100 pages of information about setting up email, using Safari, Face Time and message center. The next book is Beyond the Basics which has over 100 pages dealing with backing up, setting up wireless network, sharing files, running windows on a Mac and troubleshooting. Book 4 has almost 200 pages dealing with iTunes, videos, photos, movies and music. The final book Taking Care of Business has 150 pages on calendar, contacts and the iWork program with the spreadsheet, powerpoint and document formation. This is a great book to read now and then keep around for future references. I highly recommend it to all new Mac owners.

Grateful to Amazon
This was a gift for my husband and he is happy to have an up-to-date source for researching challenges he has with his new computer.

HUGE BOOK Of INFORMATION
What can I say! LOTS of information. I just switched to a Mac from a Dell and needed to know the differences. This is a HUGE BOOK and it explained it all. Anything I had a question about...was in this book. And the fact I bought it used from Amazon make it even BETTER for the price!

Not your typical Dummies book
It is comprehensive to the point of overload but I miss the jokes and sense of humor that I have come to expect from "Dummies" books.

great for those new to Mac or anyone in need of a refresher
A very basic book for the person new to Apple computers. Easy to follow and a great learn tool when you first start up the MAC. I have taken a beginning class in Apple but needed to revisit some features that this computer has. It was a good choice for me.

Well beyond expaectations
As a dyed in the wool PC/Microsoft man, II needed a quick insight on Apple Macs to support a small project. This book is fulfilling that need admirably. Its description was "Used" which I was perfectly comportable. In fact, one could hardly tell apart from a single serial number sticker inside the cover and the (bonus) plastic jacket over the paper covers. I am 110% satisfied and would be happy to deal with this seller again.

always something to learn
since i don't have one of those really smart 12 year-old media geniuses in my house i have to rely on my questionable ability to rap my head around the written word...

Mother's Day Gift
My wife is really enjoying the book. A couple of years ago she won a MacBook Pro and being schooled in Microsoft I really wasn't much help but now I'm getting far fewer requests for "HELP!"

Macs All-in-one For Dummies Paperback
I love 'Macs' and I presently own 4 MacBook Pros. I first used a Mac back in 1985, a year after their introduction. This was basically a rectangular box with a small (7"), monochome TV screen. A year later a colour screen was introduced. The 'Mac Plus' had a colossal (then) 4MB RAM memory, a floppy disc drive and an external 20M hard disc drive. It had a full size plugin keyboard and it was fashionable to carry this kit around in a shoulder bag about the size of an average rucksack. If anything, it kept the owner fit by hauling this not inconsiderable weight around. I still have that Mac Plus and it worked OK the last time I powered it but that was about 20 years ago.The 'Dummies ...' books are one of my all time favourite series of books and I have several dozen of them covering a wide range of topics but mostly about computers. The 'All-in-One' series are even better value. This 'Macs All-in-One' is a recent acquisition which I use as a reference book. I seldom, if ever, read such books from cover to cover. That is not their intended purpose. I can recommend this one which I think was published towards the beginning of last year (2014).
