Digest Basic + Probiotics Capsules, 30 Count

Isn't always the Best... This Product was Great at DeBloating me & then keeping me from Bloating, throughout the Day. However, I noticed that EVERY Time I took 2 at 1x, since it said you could take more, w/in 30mins I'd become Exhausted & would fall asleep for 2+Hrs!! Going into this, I didn't know anything about Dosage or Strains, etc, so I didn't have any Expectations. I finally looked into Probiotics as a Whole, not just this Product, & learned ALOT! After taking the last 2 in the Bottle this Afternoon, 30mins later I needed to lay down, as per usual when taking more than the 1 Capsule at once, so when I woke up, I got to Work finding out if Probiotics can cause Exhaustion... I got my Answer & then some, So I felt I should Share my Knowledge in my Review. In the Article that I Read Online, it said "20-40Mill CFU (Which's along the Lines of "Cultures per Unit"), is the amount per Dose, that are Recommended by Nutritionists". Upon further Research, I Discovered that after a Course of Antibiotics &/or if you Destroyed your Stomach from something OTC, like Ibuprofen, then taking upwards of 400Mill CFU, for approximately 30Days, will Replenish Balance in your Gut, from the Turmoil of the Antibiotics &/or Ibuprofen. But, you should only take 400Mill Short Term; Then, after the Initial 30 Days of 400Mill, cut the Dose in Half for Maintenance, if needed... But, Start Probiotics & Increase your Dosage a Little at a Time, is the Best Route to take VS Believing that the more you take the Better you'll Feel, bc that's NOT True. If you suffer from Conditions like Chronic Fatigue, Probiotics can actually exacerbate CFS, if a Little Too Much is taken & sometimes even just a Regular Dose, so do your Research. Also, if you take more than you should for your Body, hence the Subject line of "Too Much of a Good Thing", you can experience SEVERE Adverse Reactions & Side Effects, such as: Anxiety & Exhaustion: The Kind of Exhaustion I Experienced every time I took 2 Capsules & Anxiety that can Mirror a Heart Attack. Since I finished the 30 QTY Bottle today, I took the time to really Read over the Info on the Bottle, besides my Research, & noticed there's 750Mill Active Cultures per Dose of 1 Capsule; Which is ALOT & is beyond the Recommended Dose, Long-Term, especially if you're always taking more than 1 at a time! 2 Capsules = 1.5Bill Cultures, which far exceeds the Recommended 20-40Mill CFU. However, due to the Thera-Blend, it's Gentle & it didn't cause me any Stomach Upset, Diarrhea, etc; ONLY the Exhaustion... Not to mention, it's Vegan, so you don't have to Worry about Soy, Eggs, Gluten, etc. Also, the Cultures have a Gentle Delivery System that helps them Survive the Hostile Environment of your Gut to be Delivered where they're needed the Most, & then Utilized. I also Read Online about how there's certain Probiotic Strains that'll actually help w/ Anxiety & other Conditions that you're trying to Counteract or get some Relief from. So finding out which Strains you'll Benefit the Most from & then making see they're in the Probiotics you Purchase, is Key. You also, need to Watch out for a Condition called "SIBO". Which's, I think it said, When the Bad Bacteria in your Small Intestine somehow gets into the Large Intestine & then wreaks Havoc w/ Horrible Symptoms... Drs aren't see how this happens, but it does. Just make sure that you do your Research or at least take Probiotics as Directed, starting Small & adding more when needed. Just Remember 🔹Too Much of a Good Thing isn't ALWAYS what's Best for you🔹. Aside from that, this is a Fantastic Product & I felt Great when I'd take only 1 Capsule at a Time... Add in the Affordable Price Tag & it's Dynamite!! I Lost 5Lbs in just this 1st Bottle. So, I give it 2 Enthusiastic Thumbs up!! Thank you so much!!

A good digestive enzyme, no fillers and works well. I usually just use one a day for my biggest meal.

It definitely helps and I am a nutritionist. Note I control the amount since it is a capsule I'll sprinkle in with my yogurt for breakfast and start small at first to make sure it's not too much for my system. Just consider this, it says 1 capsule with meals. I'm 125 lb female and my husband is 250 lb, his meals are typically more substantial than mine. Just adding to my breakfast helps stimulate my system to preform properly, would definitely recommend.

Great product cheaper on Amazon than it is in my local vitamin store. My only issue is the UPS driver left it on my hot porch in the baking Sun and I don't think it's as effective this time

I like these. They do the job very well though for me the strength is low so I have to take five capsules at a time. I like the fact that they contain probiotics.
